Secondly, visit City Palace the former royal home. It also possesses vast courtyards, a museum and beautiful gates. Old weapons, clothes, and artifacts will be liked by children. Walk later to Jantar Mantar, the renowned observatory that has huge devices used in studying stars and the sun. Spend the evening at Albert Hall Museum or walk around the colorful Johari Bazaar to visit jewelry, textile and craft. Overnight and dinner at Jaipur.
Breakfast open with Amber Fort on a hill. You can walk up or take a jeep. The fort contains lovely courtyards and the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace) as well as the hills and the Maota Lake. Then go to Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the biggest fort of India. Tour in courtyards, halls and museums. You have magnificent views of the Blue City there. Then go to Jaswant Thada a serene marble monument to a king. It features gardens, tranquil water and carvings. Then go to the Umaid Bhawan Palace which is part in the royal family utility, and partly a museum housing royal collections. On an evening you can rest in Mandore Gardens which has temples, memorials and greenery. Dinner and night stay at Jodhpur.
Break after a breakfast and depart Jodhpur to Udaipur (approximately 56 hours). Visit Ranakpur Jain Temple which has marble pillars and miraculous environment. The detailed carvings will be popular with children. Reach Udaipur in the evening, and stay in the hotel and rest. Thereafter take a boat ride at Lake Pichola. The sunset is never to be forgotten; lights of Jag Mandir and Lake Palace are shining in the water. Overnight and dinner at Udaipur.
Morning visit City Palace located on the banks on Lake Pichola. The palace consists of the pools, rooms with ancient paintings, and lakeside balconies. Next visit Jagdish Temple which is a tall temple and has elaborated carvings. Provided that time is not an issue, go to Fateh Sagar Lake or the Vintage Car Museum where people can observe royal cars.
