Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival in Haridwar

Reach Haridwar and check in to your hotel and get a rest after the travelling. Visit Har Ki Pauri in the evening to see the Ganga Aarti which is a ritual ceremony held by priests whose lamps and religious songs fill the atmosphere. The view of floating diyas on the river is very spiritual. Having spent a quiet night at the Ganga, go back to the hotel and have dinner and a night.

DAY 02 - Haridwar – Barkot

Start off after breakfast and make your way to Barkot and reach the lovely Himalayan world. It takes you across scenic views with green valleys, rivers and mountain sceneries. There are also brief rests in between to have refreshments and take pictures. Upon reaching Barkot, have a stay in your hotel, have dinner and have a good sleep to get ready to visit Yamunotri.

DAY 03 - Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Morning adventure to Janki Chatti where the Yamunotri pilgrimage begins. At this point start with the 6 km walk to Yamunotri Temple or through pony/palki services. When you arrive at the temple, pray and take blessings on the holy shrine. Explore the quiet mountain scenery of the Barkot area by visiting the Suriya Kund which is a hot water spring, and have dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 04 - Barkot – Uttarkashi

Breakfast after which leave Uttarkashi, following the Bhagirathi River. The road provides a spectacular sightseeing of pine trees, waterfalls and mountain sides. On arrival, take a room in your hotel and rest. You can also attend the local Vishwanath Temple in the evening and take the blessings and feel the serene spiritual atmosphere of this holy town.

DAY 05 - Uttarkashi -Gangotri -Uttarkashi.

Get off early, and make your way up to Gangotri, with superb Himalayan scenery. On arrival, visit Gangotri Temple and take time in giving your prayers and sitting calmly near river. The calm surrounding helps in meditation and reflection. Upon the completion of darshan, dinner and a good rest at Uttarkashi.

DAY 06 - Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Then after breakfast start your trip to Guptkashi, which is one of the most scenic and long ways of the yatra. The road goes through beautiful villages and river meetings, and it presents spectacular mountain views. After reaching, settle in your hotel and have a rest. Evening is at liberty to rest preparing body and soul to the Kedarnath trek.

DAY 07 - Guptkashi – Kedarnath

Move to Sonprayag and then to Gaurikund, which is the point of origin of the Kedarnath trek. Start the walk on foot or go with pony, palki or helicopter at extra expense. On arriving at Kedarnath, have a rest in the place of accommodation and take a shower. During the evening, visit the divine aarti of Kedarnath Temple which is encircled by snow-capped peaks to have a strong spiritual experience.

DAY 08 - Kedarnath

Rise up early in the morning to have a darshan in Kedarnath Temple which is among the most sacred Jyotirlingas of God Shiva. Take time to pray and meditate without in a great hurry, imbibing spiritual energy of the environment. You can visit the picturesque places in the area and have a view of the scenery of the mountains. The serene environment enables you to relate well with the piety and the environment.

DAY 09 - Kedarnath – Guptkashi

Have a breakfast and then start the walk back to Gaurikund and proceed driving to Guptkashi. The trip that you take back gives you time to contemplate your experience in Kedarnath. When you get there, take a place in your hotel and have a good rest. The night is at will to rest following the physically taxing and spiritually rewarding hike.

DAY 10 - Guptkashi – Badrinath

Post breakfast, drive to Badrinath through Joshimath where you will have good scenery during your journey. When you arrive at your hotel, have a shower and clean up. Have a holy bath at visit Tapt Kund and then evening aarti at Badrinath Temple. The spiritual resonance of the temple town and the Himalayan background make it a peaceful and ecstatic experience.

DAY 11 - Badrinath Local Sightseeing.

Do morning darshan at Badrinath Temple. Other possible places of interest to visit later include Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Charan Paduka, each of which has mythological value. The serene atmosphere and the mountains that surround the area contribute to the spiritual beauty of the area. Go back to your hotel and have dinner and stay in Badrinath.

DAY 12 - Badrinath -Govindghat-Joshimath.

In the morning, drive to Govindghat and proceed to Joshimath where one will spend the night. This day is deliberately made light in order to give a sufficient rest before the Valley of Flowers walk. Spend the night in your hotel and enjoy mountain cool weather. Have a good sleep, and you are ready to go out in the next day.

DAY 13 - Valley of flowers Field trip.

In the morning start a walk to the Valley of Flowers, through picturesque wood paths and mountain brooks. On entering the valley you will be able to see colorful alpine flowers on huge meadows. Take much time to wander, take pictures and appreciate the serene nature-environment. Finish the visit and go to Joshimath to spend the night.

DAY 14 - Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Following the breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag where scenic Himalayan views can be enjoyed on the way. Pay visit to the holy confluence point at the rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini, which is a significant spiritual point. Take some time in silence and think about your pilgrimage voyage. Check into your hotel and have time off the evening.

DAY 15 - Rishikesh- Departure- Rudraprayag.

Drive to Rishikesh, the last place of your trip after breakfast. On arrival, you can go to Ram Jhula or have serene time at the Ganga River. Spiritual peace of Rishikesh is a perfect ending of your yatra. Take off with Godly blessings, inner harmony and memories of Himalayas that cannot be forgotten.
