DAY 01 -

Morning and Afternoon Sightseeing: Start your day with exploring Red Fort, an iconic landmark. Walk through its impressive entrances as your guide shares tales about emperors and their reign. Your next stop is Jama Masjid, one of India's biggest mosques. Then, make your way to the lively Chandni Chowk area. Take a ride on a rickshaw for a thrilling experience and discover the vibrant market bursting with wedding clothes, jewelry, and spices. By the afternoon you can also visit the Safdurjung Tomb if you love exploring historical monuments. After that, you can go to India Gate, a monument for fallen soldiers surrounded by lush gardens. See the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House, that has a slight resemblance to British-era designs. Thereafter, you can also visit Agrasen ki Baoli and click some filmy pictures if you have time.  Evening and Night Exploration: You can explore Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret, in the evening or visit Humayun's Tomb at night. After that, you must visit the Lotus Temple, a very peaceful and flower-shaped temple that is open for people of all religions. Then go to the Dilli Haat, an open-air market that comes alive at night, where you can buy handicrafts and try food from different states of India. If you have the time, you may visit the nearby Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum to see Indian crafts in a museum context. This itinerary can help you explore Delhi in one day and see the city's history, culture, and past.
