Itinerary

DAY 01 - Morning: Old Delhi Heritage Experience

Your hotel, airport or railway station in Delhi will be picked up as the starting point of the tour. You can begin your sightseeing by visiting Jama Masjid which is one of the biggest mosques in India with its great courtyards and splendid Mughal architecture. Starting at this point, you can have a rickshaw ride around Chandni Chowk, a labyrinth of lanes, spice markets, and old fashioned shops and havelis. Explore the biggest spice market in Asia, Khari Baoli where the smell of spices provides a sensory insight into the trading background of Old Delhi.

DAY 02 - Late Morning: Colonial Landmarks and Raj Ghat

Next go to the memorial of Gandhi, the Raj Ghat, in serene gardens. Keep driving (photo stop) at Red Fort which was a symbol of Mughal strength. After that, visit India gate which is a war memorial in remembrance of the Indian soldiers and pass by the Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament house which represents the British colonialism and the administration tradition of India.

DAY 03 - Afternoon: New Delhi Monuments and Spiritual Sites

The Tomb of Humayun, a UNESCO World Heritage and architectural forerunner of the Taj Mahal, in the middle of landscaped gardens. Move on to Qutub Minar which is another UNESCO Heritage site because of its complex carvings and historical value. Subsequently, spend some time in the serene Lotus Temple which is the Baha'i House of Worship due to the lotus form of the temple and the hall of calm meditation.

DAY 04 - Evening: Spiritual Closure & Local Markets

End the tour by visiting Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a highly sacred Sikh temple in the whole of Delhi, where people will be able to observe evening prayers and the community kitchen (langar).
