Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Welcome to Jodhpur -Blue City Tour.

Get into the so-called Blue City, Jodhpur, and reach your hotel. Begin sightseeing with the wonderful Mehrangarh Fort which is defined with large courtyards, palaces and also with a panoramic view of the blue-painted houses that lie below. Others include the cenotaph of Jaswant Thada made of marble dedicated to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace, a gallery/ part of royal residence. In the evening, go to a vibrant Clock Tower Market which is reputed to trade in handicrafts, spices and textile. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 02 - Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

In the morning, take a beautiful sightseeing of the dry deserts of western Rajasthan to the Golden City, Jaisalmer. Upon reaching here you go to your hotel and rest. In the evening, do a leisurely walk around the Gadisar Lake which is quite a silent place with temples and ghats and best to take the sunset photos. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

DAY 03 - Sam Sand Dunes and Jaisalmer Fort.

The grand Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila) which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and glitters in the sun like gold should be the first place to visit. See the beautifully carved Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Sing Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli of excellent stonework. In the afternoon, go to the magic Sam Sand Dunes to have an excellent camel safari to experience the fabulous desert sunset. It is possible to have a cultural evening visit with folk music, Kalbeliya dance and traditional Rajasthani dinner in a desert camp. Spending the night in an expensive tent in the sky of stars.

DAY 04 - This is the day of Departure and Jaisalmer Local Markets

Breaking away through the dunes in the midst of enchanting sunrise and returning to Jaisalmer within half a day. Shopping at the local bazaars which are colorful shopping centers with souvenirs including camel leather products, embroidery fabrics and miniature paintings. When you have time to spare, stop by the royal cenotaph complex of Bada Bagh that offers serene desert scenery to your next destination.
