On arriving in Jodhpur, we shall receive you and then direct you to your hotel. Start your tour after some relaxing time with the most famous attraction of this city which is the Mehrangarh Fort. This gigantic building rising out of a rocky hill, has exquisite palace and courtyards and a museum displaying royal weapons, paintings and costumes. The fort presents sweeping sightings on the blue-colored old city of Jodhpur.Mere down a slope is the beautiful Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph erected to remember Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It sits in a serene garden and features complex carvings and is an excellent spot to contemplate.Next is Toorji Ka Jhalra which is an 18 th century stepwell that has been magically renovated and now is filled with cafes and boutique stores. The symmetrical steps of the stepwell architecture are impressive and result in the perfect photography background.Complete your day with the visit to busy Clock Tower and Sardar Market where you can find handicrafts, spices, juttis, and Rajasthani fabrics. Back to the hotel to spend the night.
Have breakfast in the hotel and proceed with a visit to Umaid Bhawan Palace, which was one of the final royal palaces constructed before the independence of India. Some portion of the palace is still in the possession of the royal family and another space has been a heritage hotel. The museum is full of royal memorabilia and a vintage clock collection as well as a collection of vintage vehicles. Clear marked routes take you past the indigenous desert foliage and through the walls of the fort in the afternoon.Visit Mandore garden, an old kingdom capital of the Marwar. There are red sandstone memorial cenotaphs and temples and green grounds and sculptures showcasing the royal legacy of this region of India. One can also visit the small museum and temple complex in the garden and spend the day at Kaylana Lake, which is an artificial lake that surrounds beautiful rocky landscape and trees. Locals gather there to have fun and spend time watching the sunset and to take a rest at the water. You can boat here and can relax at the lake and absorb the serenity.
Begin your last day with breakfast and leave for a half-day sightseeing trip to Osian, located 65 km away in Jodhpur. This old town is characterised by Hindu and Jain temples (built 8th to the 11th century) which have fine carvings and historical value. Sachiya Mata Temple and Sun Temple are especially remarkable, with a medieval Marwar temple architecture grandeur on display. During your stay at Osian you might also like to take a brief camel ride or jeep safari across the desert dunes nearby (optional). The terrain here will give you a semi-desert effect where there is an openness in running sands and thorned bushes and acts as a thrilling addition to your urban tour.On your way back to Jodhpur make a detour to visit Machia Biological Park, which is situated near Kaylana Lake. It is a Zoological park with animals like lions, leopards, deer and crocodiles in its wide space where an animal is kept so that they feel they are in their natural habitat.The 3 days will come to an end after visiting the park and we would leave you to your desired destination-railway station, airport or hotel.
