Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Welcome to Kochi.

At Kochi, the tour representative will meet you and take you to the hotel. Check-in and unwind after the journey. Kochi is a historical port city which is characterized by colonial influences, colorful markets and water beauty.Visit Fort Kochi, known as China fishing nets, colonial buildings and vibrant cultural life, in the evening. You can also go to a classical Kathakali dance show, which will give you an insight on the classical art of Kerala. One night stay in Kochi.

DAY 02 - Kochi -Alleppey (Backwaters Experience)

Following breakfast, a drive to Alleppey, the Venice of the East. On arrival, take the traditional houseboat to have a backwater tour.Check in to your resort and have a time off in the midst of nature.Then, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where migratory birds and various wildlife can be found. You may also enjoy the tranquil environment, socializing with people or just relax on the lake. Kumarakom is an ideal place to rest due to its peaceful atmosphere. Kumarakom Overnight stay.

DAY 03 - Kumarakom -Thekkady (Wildlife and Spice Plantations)

Take a drive to Thekkady, the land of abundant wildlife and spice plantations after breakfast. Arrive at the hotel, and get a check-in.Explore Periyar national park where you can take a boat safari across Periyar Lake and see wildlife such as elephants, deer and other bird species. Then, visit spice plantations later where you can learn about Kerala spice varieties, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, etc. Thekkady Overnight.

DAY 04 - Thekkady -Munnar (Hill Station).

Breakfast then make a drive to Munnar, a lovely hill station with its rolling tea plantations and cool climate.Along the path, have picturesque sceneries of waterfalls and green plants. Arrive, have dinner in your hotel and rest. Subsequently, visit local markets, or just breathe in the fresh mountain air. Munnar Overnight.

DAY 05 - Munnar -Onam celebrations and departure.

Post breakfast: Take part in special Onam festivals organized to welcome visitors. View colourful Pookalam (flower rangoli), listen to traditional music and dance shows, and relish the grand Onam Sadya that is served on banana leaves.On the schedule, you can also be a spectator or hear about Vallam Kali (snake boat races), which are one of the most thrilling events of the festival.Then, it will take you to the nearest airport or railway station and you will be able to leave India with a memorable experience of Kerala with its culture, nature and festive delight.
