Itinerary

DAY 01 - Welcome To Jaisalmer

In the morning get up and start off for Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan. A city that is famous for its golden sand stone buildings and desert. On arrival check in to the hotel and get cosy. Later visit Jaisalmer Fort which is one of his few living world's forts, where folks are living in this fort. Stroll the winding streets of the fort, explore temples, local shops and traditional houses within the fort.Eat local Rajasthani local food & see local folk culture at night. Stay at Jaisalmer overnight.

DAY 02 - Jaipur Sightseeing Tour

Then, head towards the majestic Amber Fort on a hilltop, which is another part of the Jaipur sightseeing tour after breakfast. The fort is renowned for its royal halls, mirror work, courtyards and the beautiful surrounding environment. Visit Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace in the center of Man Sagar Lake later. Visitors also have the opportunity to sample handicrafts and local bazaars renowned for their jewelry and textiles, traditional art. Make time for leisure and unwind at the hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

DAY 03 - Jaipur to Jodhpur – The Blue City

This is followed by a drive to Jodhpur, commonly referred as Blue City of Rajasthan after breakfast. The walk is scenic and provides a glimpse of the villages, desert scenery and people of Rajasthan. Once you arrive check in to the hotel and enjoy yourself. Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, a great fort in India, later. This fort has stunning views of the blue painted houses of Jodhpur city. They can explore museums and royal artifacts and ancient architecture within the fort, and admire the magnificent architecture located on the premises. Stay at Jodhpur overnight.

DAY 04 - Visit Pink City

You get the message of welcome in the 'Pink City' of Jaipur at the start of your day.On Day 1 we arrive at the 'Pink City' - Jaipur with a warm message. At the arrival airport/railway station we will greet you nicely. Registration at the hotel. After a good sleep getting into the surroundings of Pink City of Rajasthan Jaipur. Come through the beautiful City Palace, a royal Residence and display of Costumes of the Royalty, ancient Weapons, Museum and courtyards. From here, go visit India's largest astronomical observatory - Jantar Mantar - which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the beautiful Hawa Mahal – Palace of Winds – with all its beautiful windows and pink sandstone building. Having an evening shopping and enjoying the traditional Rajasthani cuisine at home. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

DAY 05 - Jaisalmer Desert Experience

Post breakfast head back to Jaisalmer where I enjoy the rest of the day with sightseeing. Check out the magnificent carvings at Patwon Ki Haveli or at Nathmal Ki Haveli where you will get the idea of traditional architecture. Continue on toward Sam Sand Dunes and have an outstanding experience in the desert. Hop on a camel and ride through the golden sand dunes and witness the beautiful desert sunset. There are also folk music and traditional dances as well as a group of cultural events on offer for travellers during the desert camp. Overnight stay.

DAY 06 - Jaisalmer to Udaipur – City of Lakes

The final day of the tour takes you from Jaisalmer to Udaipur, the city of lakes. After breakfast, travel towards Udaipur, one of the most romantic cities in India. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. During the evening go to Lake Pichola and fall in love with the tranquility of the lake city. Visitors can shop at local markets, visit cafés and local handicraft stores. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

DAY 07 - Udaipur Sightseeing and Departure

Now it will be a day for sightseeing and departure to Udaipur. In the morning after breakfast, visit the town of Udaipur for sightseeing. Go to the Grand City Palace on the banks of Lake Pichola. The palace is renowned for its museums, balconies and views of the lake. Later visit Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon Ki Bari (a beautiful garden with fountains and pavilions of marble). Depending on your timing, have some time to shop or relax. Pick up from here at Udaipur Airport or Railway Station and proceed to fly back to Chennai.
