Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrive in Jaipur where you are introduced to this Pink City

From Kolhapur, reach Jaipur by train or flight. On arrival at the airport/railway station you are handed over to our representative to look after you for the hotel transfer and formalities. Once you've rested, you are ready to explore Jaipur. Visit the renowned City Palace that is one of the finest architectural works created during the reign of Rajputan and Mughals. People can see the royal courtyards, museum, costume and historical collections in the palace. Visit Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the biggest astronomical observatories in India later on. Follow this and arrive at the famous Hawa Mahal, the amazing beautiful pink sandstone windows and unique design.

DAY 02 - Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur

After breakfast, walk to beautiful Amber fort, which is located on the top of a hill. The royal rooms, the mirror art, the courtyards and vistas of the surrounding hills and lakes are all equally famous. Another visit is of the beautiful Jal Mahal in the centre of the Man Sagar Lake,which is one of the most photographed attractions in Jaipur. Locals have handicraft stores and traditional art markets, where visitors can buy local products and delve deeper into the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. Windsweep's night includes eating authentic Rajasthani food at restaurants in the local area. Stay at Jaipur overnight.

DAY 03 - Jaipur to Jodhpur – The Blue City

After breakfast, drive to the Blue City of Rajasthan(Jodhpur). There is beautiful scenery along the way to traditional villages and the desert. When you get there, register at the hotel and unwind. Then visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort of India which is one of the largest and the most beautiful Forts of the country. Fort sits on a hill placing breathtaking views of blue painted houses of Jodhpur city. The visitors can visit a museum, a royal gallery, ancient arms and beautifully designed courts in the fort. Another stop is the marble memorial at Jaswant Thada in serene surroundings, with lovely gardens. Visitors can have a shopping spree after the day at the famous Clock Tower Market which will be the place where they can get spices, handicrafts, textiles and local products.

DAY 04 - Jodhpur to Jaisalmer – The Golden City

The last day consists of a drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer – The Golden City! After breakfast, travel to the Golden City of the Indian Desert – Jaisalmer elsewhere are golden sandstone buildings and a desert landscape. When you get to the hotel, sign in and get a restful night's sleep. Visit the famous Jaisalmer Fort – one of the very few living forts in the world, where people live within the fort complex later. Visitors to the fort area have access to narrow streets, and they may go about the streets to visit local colorful markets and ancient temples. Check out the sites of Patwon Ki Haveli as well as Nathmal Ki Haveli, renowned for their elaborate carvings and aesthetically inclined structure. The traditional dinner of the Rajasthani is served in the evening followed by a performance of the traditional music and dance. Overnight accommodation at Jaisalmer.

DAY 05 - Desert Safari- Sand Dunes

After breakfast, head towards the renowned Sam Sand Dunes and experience a desert adventure of a lifetime. Have a camel safari on the golden sand dunes and see the amazing sunset over the desert. A jeep safari can also be done for an additional cost offering an even more adventurous trip! In the evenings cultural activities are organized at the desert camp that involves traditional folk music, Kalbelia dance and Rajasthani entertainment. Overnight stay in the desert camp of Jaisalmer.

DAY 06 - Leaving Jaisalmer

Following breakfast, there is some free time for shopping and relaxation. Visitors can enjoy shopping for handmade goods, embroidered fabrics, leather goods, and traditional souvenirs. Later transfer to Jaisalmer Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey back to Kolhapur according to your travel schedule.
