Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Arrive in Jaipur

You start off at Jaipur from South India . On arriving at the city, register at the hotel and have a rest. Afternoons Visit the beautiful City Palace, still home to the royal family. Tour the courtyards, museums and historic galleries. Following this, visit Jantar Mantar, which is an old observatory housing immense devices that were used to examine the sun, the moon and the stars. Then, take a stroll around Bapu Bazaar or Johri Bazaar where you will be able to purchase jewellery, textiles, bangles and handicrafts. Close the day with the visit to the peaceful Birla Temple, being very beautiful in the evening when it is lit.

DAY 02 - Jaipur Sightseeing

Begin your day after taking breakfast, with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort with its hilltop position, gorgeous halls, and mirror paintings. Here, explore the famous Panna Meena Ka Kund, which is a step-well that is old and ideal in photography. Next, visit Hawa Mahal and take photos there and have fun in the surrounding busy streets. Next stop at Albert Hall Museum which is the oldest in Rajasthan full of historical objects, art, and sculptures. An evening at Chokhi Dhani, a cultural village in the traditional way, is an experience to be enjoyed with folk dances, puppet shows, music, camel rides and a delicious Rajasthani dinner.

DAY 03 - Discover Mandawa

Drive to Mandawa, a place in the Shekhawati region. The painted havelis and old mansions are also quite popular in this area. Once checked in, visit Mandawa Fort, a good place to see because of several amazing architectures and colour rooms. Stroll along the little streets with frescoes depicting ancient tales, old myths and normal everyday scenes. Mandawa is a small rural village that is quite an experience to travellers.

DAY 04 - Explore Bikaner

Breakfast, and drive to Bikaner. When you arrive, have a look at your hotel and sleep. Possibly, visit Junagarh Fort in the afternoon, which is one of the few forts that were constructed on flat land in Rajasthan. There will be royal bedrooms, courtyards, ancient weapons, and beautiful carvings inside. You can then go to the Camel Breeding Farm where you can also be educated on various breeds of camels and even get to taste camel milk-based products. Finish your day with a visit to the local market that is known as a snack, sweets and handicraft.

DAY 05 - Arrival in Jaisalmer

Drive to Jaisalmer, the city of gold in the sun now-a-days. A beautiful view of desert villages, open landscapes, and small dunes can be seen on the long drive. Once there, check into your hotel and drive to Gadisar Lake, a very quiet place, with ancient temples and ghats. Spend your evening by the waterside and have a view of the sunset.

DAY 06 - Jaisalmer Sightseeing

The first place to visit in this city is the grandiose Jaisalmer Fort, also referred to as Sonar Qila. This is a living fort that is inhabited by shops, temples, and families that have stayed in the fort since it was founded. Then proceed to the renowned havelis such as Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli. The carvings on each haveli are very detailed reflecting the artisanism of the Jaisalmer craftsmen. In the evening, leave for the Sam Sand Dunes. Ride a camel through the desert and see the sunset turn the sky orange. You can spend your evening in folk dance, music and traditional dinner and go back to your hotel.

DAY 07 - Visit Jodhpur

Post-breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur which is the Blue City of Rajasthan. Arrival, check in and have a rest. In the afternoon a visit to the great Mehrangarh Fort, considered to be one of the best-preserved forts in India. Visit its museum, courtyards, and perspectives where one can have a gorgeous picture of the blue houses beneath. The white marble Jaswant Thada, a serene royal memorial, is also worth a visit. Stroll around the markets around the Clock tower which is known to be of spices, fabrics and handicrafts.

DAY 08 - Arrival in Udaipur

Breakfast and then head to Udaipur. Along the route, visit the marvelous Ranakpur Jain Temple with 1,444 hand carved marble pillars. On leaving the temple, drive to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Check in and arrive at your hotel. Stroll out in the evening and have dinner by Lake Pichola.

DAY 09 - Udaipur Sightseeing

During the morning, go to the beautiful City Palace which is located at the very edge of Lake Pichola. Discover the balconies, royal rooms, courtyards and museums. The next place to visit is the Jagdish Temple, which is among the significant temples in Udaipur. Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden later made of fountains and marble pavilions.You can take a boat ride in the evening in Lake Pichola where the palaces and ghats are lit up by the sunset.

DAY 10 - Arrive in Pushkar

Visit Pushkar which is one of the most holy towns in India. Upon arrival, do check in and visit the renowned Pushkar Lake that is enclosed with over 50 ghats. Explore  the colourful streets and the Brahma Temple, which is one of the few temples in the globe that are devoted to Lord Brahma. The spiritual ambience of Pushkar is calm and very beautiful to enjoy a relaxation.

DAY 11 - Explore Ajmer

Breakfast and then take a trip to the nearby ancient city, Ajmer. Pay a visit to the great Ajmer Sharif Dargah, which is a religious place accessible to people of every religion. It is a memorable experience due to the energy, qawwalis and calm ambience. Here starts once again on your way to Jaipur. Check in and have a rest once you get there. You can use your time in the evening to visit the local markets or have a leisure dinner in your hotel.

DAY 12 - Explore Chittorgarh

Go to-day to Chittorgarh, a city of city of heroes and of gigantic fort. Upon arrival, visit Chittorgarh Fort which is one of the largest forts in India. Vijay Stambh, Rani Padmini Palace, Kirti Stambh Vijay Stambh, Rani Padmini Palace and Kirti Stambh are all inside the fort. The fort has stunning scenery and provides an insight into the heroic history of Rajasthan. Spend your night resting at your hotel.

DAY 13 - Departure

Enjoy a  leisurely breakfast and then drive back to Jaipur and continue on your journey. At the railway station or airport, you will be dropped.
