Chopta, the mini Switzerland of India. The road has beautiful mountainous scenery, rivers, and forests. Upon arrival, hunt barren fields and take snow mountains such as Chaukhamba. The photograph of the sunset in Chopta is stunning where the mountains are covered with golden light. Chopta (camp/ cottage ) overnight.
Early morning walk to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Himalayan peaks: Trek and capture sunrise. Trails (during winter) and bugyals (during summer) are covered with snow and are dramatic in frames. Hike to Chandrashila Summit is optional with panoramic views of the Himalayas including Nanda Devi and other peaks. Go back to Chopta and spend night.
Joshimath to Auli. Auli is renowned with snow scenery during winter and green slopes during summer. Get panoramic views of the Himalayas with Nanda Devi. Aerial photography ride by ropeway (optional). Overnight stay at Auli.
Drive to Badrinath. Badrinath Temple Visit to take pictures of the temple architecture with snow peaks as the backdrop. Badrinath and its views of dramatic mountain landscapes and capture Alaknanda River. Back to Joshimath and stay over.
Drive to Nainital. Reflect on Naini Lake in the evening at sunset. Frames around the lake are beautiful due to the evening lights. Overnight stay at Nainital.
Breakfast and visit to Bhimtal Lake where you can do peaceful photography around the lake with hills. You can also find surrounding opinions to capture landscape shots in the aerial style. Then go on to get memorable photography of rivers, forests, temples, snow peaks and lakes.
