Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Arrival in Delhi -a Soft Landing.

You enter the capital of India, Delhi. You will also be welcomed and transported to your hotel and have time to rest the first day. During the evening, one may drive around the India gate and the Connaught place to view the city lights. Tonight you remain in Delhi preparing the adventure.

DAY 02 - Delhi to Mandawa- Gateway to Shekhawati.

You drive to Shekhawati after breakfast to a small town called Mandawa. Mandawa resembles an art gallery; its streets are painted in color with mansions. You will go to Mandawa Fort which is partially a heritage hotel. Stroll through the narrow streets with each wall depicting a story painted on it. The trip will be made more agreeable as you will spend the night in a heritage haveli.

DAY 03 - Mandawa to Nawalgarh Day by Day: Painted Heritage.

Another jewel of Shekhawati that you visit in the morning is Nawalgarh. Its painted houses have earned it the title of the Open-Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan that is popular among all. You will visit Poddar Haveli, which is currently used as a museum, and Morarka Haveli, which has elaborate images on its walls. These are hundreds of years old photographs depicting mythological stories and ordinary life. Then you go to Mandawa in order to have some leisure and spend a night.

DAY 04 - Mandawa-Bikaner -Desert Traditions.

You are heading to Bikaner that borders the Thar Desert. You go to Junagarh Fort which is a large fort constructed with the use of red sandstone and contains palaces, courtyards and carved balconies. The fort has never been conquered demonstrating how powerful it was. During the evening, you go to markets and purchase camel-hide goods, and enjoy Bikaner snacks such as bhujia. You pass the night at Bikaner.

DAY 05 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer -Golden City Arrival.

Following breakfast you go to Jaisalmer, the Golden City as a result of its golden sandstone buildings. You go in the evening and the Jaisalmer Fort is shining in the golden light. It is possible to walk through the fort, where people continue to live and work. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

DAY 06 - Desert camp and sight seeing of Jaisalmer.

This is a day of sightseeing in Jaisalmer. The first thing that you will see is the Patwon Ki Haveli which is a set of five painted houses with elaborate carvings. Then there is the Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli with their respective charms. Then you take a rest at Gadisar Lake. During the afternoon, you travel to Sam Sand dunes to take a camel safari. During the night, you will watch folk dance and music under the stars in a desert camp. You will spend the night in tent camps in the desert and that is unforgettable.

DAY 07 - Jaisalmer to Jodhpur through Osian.

You are going to Jodhpur, the city of the blue. In the route that you pass by Osian which is an ancient town with Jain and Hindu temples. You reach Jodhpur by evening and walk around the Clock Tower Market that has spices, textiles and crafts. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 08 - Sightseeing in Jodhpur The blue city.

The day will be spent visiting the key places of Jodhpur. You start with a visit to Mehrangarh fort, which is one of the largest forts in India, but it is located above the blue houses of the city. Also there is the Jaswant Thada with a monument of white marbles constructed in honor of Maharaja Jaswart Singh. Umaid Bhawan Palace is partly a palace and partly a hotel; it demonstrates the modern architectural splendor of a royal one. During the evening one can shop in Sardar Market. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 09 - Udaipur via Ranakpur Day 9: Jodhpur to Udaipur.

You abandon Jodhpur and go to Udaipur. As you go by Ranakpur to visit its renowned Jain Temple, with 1,444 marble pillars that are carved in a particular manner. You get to Aravalli hills and arrive in Udaipur, which is known as the City of Lakes. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 10 - Udaipur City Tour -Lakes and Palaces.

Then you begin by paying a visit to City Palace which is a large complex containing courtyards, gardens, and museums. Next you visit Jagdish Temple which is a 17 th century temple of lord Vishnu. You go in the afternoon in a boat on Lake Pichola to Jag Mandir and Lake Palace. During the evening you attend one of the cultural performances at Bagore Ki Haveli where puppets and Rajasthani folk dances are performed. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 11 - Ranch excursion to Kumbhalgarh- Fort of victory.

Take a one day visit to Kumbhalgarh Fort which is a UNESCO site, climb the fort having the second-longest walls in the world after the Great Wall of China. Right through the palaces and temples of the fort and admire the wonderful sight of the hills. Return to Udaipur by evening. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 12 - Mount Abu: Udaipur to Mount Abu MoreMountain Getaway.

Post breakfast visit Mount Abu which is the only hill station in Rajasthan. Tourist attractions in Nakki lake include a relaxed boat ride and Dilwara Jain Temples, which can be explored and seen in Nakki. Take a trip into the Sunsetting Point and end the day. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

DAY 13 - Chittorgarh to Mount Abu Tales of Valor.

Reput Mount Abu and head to Chittorgarh, a place that has many stories about being a courageous and selfless person. Explore the Chittorgarh Fort which is the largest fort in India. The fort has Rana Kumbha Palace, the Palace of Padmini, Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory), and Kirti Stambh. One size four overnight stay at Chittorgarh.

DAY 14 - Jaipur -The Pink City to Chittorgarh.

Jeep tour of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. In addition to this, you can enter your hotel when you arrive and have a stay. During the evening visit the old city passionately colored bazaars, appearing pink. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 15 - Jaipur Sight seeing- Heritage Walk.

The day is spent exploring the best attractions of Jaipur. Go to Amber Fort, where one can ride to the entrance on an elephant or a jeep. As you proceed back, visit Jal Mahal which is a palace built at the center of the Man Sagar Lake. The City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, and Hawa Mahal with its honeycomb windows are the most notable landmarks that one can see within the city. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 16 - Jaipur SightSeeing Jaipur Forts and Crafts.

Visit Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort to have a panoramic view of the city. Visit Sanganer later or Bagru village where there are ancient block printing and pottery. Mind a cultural dinner full of folk dance and puppet show in the evening. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 17 - Jaisalmer to Pushkar through Ajmer Sacred Stop.

See Jaipur off to Ajmani, the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Choose to go to Pushkar a sacred town to visit Pushkar Lake composed of holistic ghats as well as the only Brahma Temple. Follow its vibrant colored lanes and cafes and shops. Enjoy the sunset at the ghats. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

DAY 18 - Pushkar to Bundi through Kota -Martyrs Town.

Towards Bundi, making a short stay at Kota. Visit Bundi, Taragarh fort, Bundi palace with mural paintings and Raniji Ki Baori (Stepwell). Small cities present a welcome change over Bundi which is very quiet. Overnight stay in Bundi.

DAY 19 - Bundi to Ranthambore -Into the Jungle.

You are going to Ranthambore national park today as one of the most favorable tiger grounds in India. Arrive and check-in to your lodge and be relaxed. Providing that time allows, a brief nature walk in the evening looking around the lodge can be enjoyed. One night while passing Ranthambore.

DAY 20 - Ranthambore and Safari and Back to Delhi.

Begin the day by visiting the jungle in Ranthambore in a safari. Watch out for the tigers, leopards, sloth bears and numerous birds. Safari and breakfast end and drive to Delhi and the wonderful memories of journey in Rajasthan with the royal way end the tour.
