After a brief orientation your driver and guide will take you to the heart of Old Delhi - Chandni Chowk, which is representative of Delhi street food.You will be welcomed with the aroma of mouth-watering food, spices and sweets while strolling along the small and bustling streets. You will start with a visit to the famous Paranthe Wali Gali and taste different stuffing parathas, served with chutneys and pickles. These are age-old recipes, which are passed from one generation to the other and give you a taste of the traditional North Indian food.Then, you will try some of the popular street food of Delhi, such as golgappa (pani puri), aloo chaat and papdi chaat. These taste great as they have a range of flavours (spicy, sour and sweet). You will also get to taste the delicious jalebis cooked in large kadais - a dessert.This section of the tour has a special visit to Asia's largest spice market - Khari Baoli. Here you will see different types of spices, dry fruits and herbs.
