Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival in Delhi

  On reaching Delhi, our representative will welcome you and take you to a hotel. The reason behind keeping this day light is to allow you to relax after a long day of traveling and to get used to the pace of India, climate and environment. Once checked-in, rest and have a refreshing time. During the evening, take a leisure drive in New Delhi, where you can see the city monuments like the India gate, Rashtrapati bhavan and the parliament house. This is a very mild introduction to the capital without having to walk long distances or stand in long queues. One can have dinner either at the hotel or in a local restaurant. DAY 02 - Delhi Sightseeing

  After having breakfast, have a leisurely sightseeing tour of Delhi. The Tomb of Humayun is another exquisite Mughal monument located in the middle of gardens, which provides a peaceful and free atmosphere. Then proceed to Qutub Minar, which is among the tallest of the minarets in the world and whose stone carvings reveal history at its slow pace. In the afternoon, pay a visit to a quiet place, Gandhi Smriti, where Mahatma Gandhi spent his last days. The silence provides room to contemplate. DAY 03 - Delhi to Agra

  After breakfast take a calming drive to Agra from Delhi. Upon arrival, get into your hotel and sleep. DAY 04 - Visit Taj Mahal

DAY 05 - Agra to Jaipur arrival

  Breakfast, and then leave Jaipur. Break on the way at Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned Mughal city; it has large courtyards and palaces. Take a leisurely stroll through the compound, and hear about the intriguing history of the compound. Arrive in Jaipur and get into a hotel and take some rest after enjoying snacks and tea. In the evening you are at liberty to rest or make a visit to a local market. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 06 - Jaipur Exploration

  Breakfast after which visit Amber Fort which is situated on the hilltop overlooking the Maota Lake. Wander around its halls, courtyards and mirror work. Then head to City Palace and Jantar Mantar which are centrally located and easy to walk around. Stop for photos at Hawa Mahal. Evening is at liberty to relax or to enjoy the culture. DAY 07 - Jaipur - Local Experiences

  It is a day of rest and sightseeing around. Post breakfast, take your time and savor Jaipur. You can go to the workshops of artisans, go to bazaars, or you can cafe hop. Additional recreational activities such as block printing or cooking classes can be provided. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 08 - Jaipur to Kochi

In the morning transfer to the airport and fly to Kochi after sitting down to breakfast, so that the long overland journey between North and South India is a thing of the past. DAY 09 - Kochi - Colonial Heritage and Culture

DAY 12 - Munnar to Alleppey - Backwater Cruise
