Itinerary
DAY 01 - Arrival in Jaipur
Once you arrive in Jaipur, get into your hotel and have a rest. Begin your day by the visit of the City Palace where once the royal family resided. It is reeking with ancient paintings, lovely courtyards and the tales of kings and queens. The second place to visit is the Jantar Mantar, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site containing giant instruments to measure the stars and time.During the evening, it is possible to stroll around Johari Bazaar which is one of the best known markets of Jaipur.
DAY 02 - Jaipur Sightseeing
Amber fort is the first place that you visit after breakfast. The castle is situated on a hill and it appears like a fairy tale castle. You may stroll through its gates, gardens, halls that make you travel by time. Without the Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of mirrors, you should not be missed. Then move on to the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds which is a pink coloured structure, but has numerous small windows. It is among the most visited places in Jaipur. During the evening hours one may also go on a walk near Albert Hall Museum which is very pretty-looking. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
DAY 03 - Jaipur to Agra
Drive to Agra, city of Taj Mahal. On route, see Fatehpur Sikri which is a red sandstone city by Emperor Akbar. The Jama Masjid and Buland Darwaza, which is one of the highest gates in the world, can be seen.Upon arriving at Agra, go into the hotel. Even then, go to the Agra Fort which has housed the Mughal kings in the past. The Taj Mahal is even visible at a distance, on some sides of the fort. Evening free time, perhaps have some sweets of the place such as petha in the markets of Agra. Overnight stay in Agra.
DAY 04 - Taj Mahal Visit and Departure
You should rise early and come to the Taj Mahal in the morning before the sun rises. The white marble monument appears gold with the initial sun rays. It is the icon of love all over the world and it will surely be the best thing of your trip. Having seen the Taj Mahal, you can visit Mehtab Bagh which is a garden located on the other side of the Yamuna River that provides another magnificent view of the monument. Your next travelling will be to Agra Railway Station or Airport later. You will come home with memories of palaces, forts, the eternal Taj Mahal.
