Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Jaipur -Arrival and Local Tour.

Reach Jaipur, the Rajasthan capital. Once you have checked in your hotel, start exploring. Begin with the famous Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal. The numerous windows were constructed in a manner that the royal ladies could observe the happenings on the streets. Then visit the City Palace where you observe the lovely courtyards, royal garments and ancient weapons. Then head to the Jantar Mantar which is a world heritage site that contains massive instruments in order to study stars and time. Go around Bapu Bazaar in the evening. Bright clothes, jewellery, bangles and sweets such as ghewar are sold in this market. Go back to hotel and have dinner and sleep.

DAY 02 - Jaipur – Forts and Culture

Make the first stop at the Amber Fort. It is a fort established on a hill and appears very grand. Within, there is the Sheesh Mahal or Mirror Palace with walls that are bright with small mirrors. The fort also offers broad perspectives of Jaipur. When you come back visit Jal Mahal which is a palace located in the middle of the lake. You are able to have the view and take photos. Next, go to visit the Albert Hall Museum to view ancient paintings, carpet and crafts. During the evening visit Nahargarh Fort. This is the view of the whole city at sunset. Go back to your hotel and rest.

DAY 03 - Jaipur → Pushkar

Breakfast and then drive to Pushkar. The trip is approximately three hours. Pushkar is a relatively peaceful and old Indian town.. Circle the Pushkar Lake that is encircled by ghats. It is pilgrims who come here to make dips and pray. There are sounds of temple bells and chants, which surround the lake. During the evening, go up to the Savitri Temple and watch the sunset. The perspective of the town and the desert is very unique here. In the future, visit the small market of Pushkar that specialises in colourful clothes, beads and handicraft. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

DAY 04 - Pushkar → Jodhpur

Mornings are the time when you can spend some time in calmness close to the lakes or go to a few little temples about the town. In the morning, visit Jodhpur and it will take around four or five hours to get to the city. Arriving at Jodhpur, get into your hotel and take a rest. During evening pay visit to the Mehrangarh Fort which is actually one of the largest forts in India. It is possible to observe a sea of blue houses in the city visible through its walls, thus, making Jodhpur the Blue City. It is a very nice experience to watch the sunset at the fort. When you are at a loss what to do at night, you may have dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the glowing fort. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

DAY 05 - Jodhpur – City Tour

Today you are going to see Jodhpur. Visit In the first place Mehrangarh Fort and museum. It possesses royal weapons, clothes and paintings. Go round the great courtyards and hear about the old times. Then go to Jaswant Thada, a white-marble structure made of gardens and a small lake. It feels very calm. Thereafter visit Umaid Bhawan Palace. Only a part of the palace remains in the use of royalty and the rest in the form of a museum. During the afternoon visit the Clock Tower Market. There are spice, handicraft and colorful fabric shops in this bustling area. Have local delicacies such as mirchi vada and pyaaz kachori. Evening stroll at your hotel or have more local cuisine. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 06 - Jodhpur -Udaipur (Ranakpur)

There on your journey you will pass Ranakpur Jain Temple. It is well known because of elaborate marble carvings. The temple contains 1,444 pillars and none of them are similar. Take a tour and then proceed with your journey into Udaipur. Enter in the afternoon, and enter your hotel. During the evening, take a boat ride on lake Pichola. When you row you will get the view of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and lights on the water. This is among the most romantic views of Rajasthan. Following the boat ride walk by the lakeside and rest.

DAY 07 - Udaipur – Lake City Tour

The first thing you should do on a day is to visit the Udaipur City Palace. There are numerous glass-decorated and painted courtyards, balconies, and rooms within the huge palace. In the palace one can view Lake Pichola. Then go to Jagdish Temple that is adjacent to the palace. It is tall, stepped, and finely carved with stone. Post lunch visit Saheliyon Ki Bari which is a royal garden created in honour of ladies. It is surrounded by fountains, lotus pools as well as marble pavilions. Visit Fateh Sagar Lake to relax on the boat or just have a sunset view. One can also observe a cultural dance and puppet show in the evening at Bagore Ki Haveli. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

DAY 08 - Udaipur – Departure

Have a lazy breakfast at your hotel. You can have time to visit the Monsoon Palace, which is located on a hill. It gives extensive perspectives of Udaipur and Aravalli Hills. If you have time, you can also go to the bazaars around the area to purchase souvenirs, maybe miniature painting or silver jewelry, or handicrafts. Then go to the airport, railway station or begin your further trip.
