Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival at Jaipur – The Pink City

Your tour to Rajasthan begins on arrival at the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Travel People India has arranged for pickup and welcome by our representative and your personal driver, who will be with you during your stay. Check into your heritage hotel and unwind after your travel. Later in the day, wander around to witness Jaipur's lively local bazaars like Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar, in which you can do some shopping of handicrafts, textiles, and jewelry. Overnight at Jaipur.

DAY 02 - Jaipur Sightseeing – Regal Grandeur

Following breakfast, your driver will take you to visit Jaipur's renowned attractions, beginning with Amber Fort. Ride horseback through the fort or elephant ride to the fort and discover its ornate courtyards and mirror rooms. Visit the City Palace, the stunning combination of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, then Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory. Photo stop at the Hawa Mahal, or "Palace of Winds". In the evening, do a live musical dinner with folk dances, pure Rajasthani. Overnight at Jaipur.

DAY 03 - Jaipur to Bikaner – Gateway to the Thar

Drive from Jaipur to Bikaner, desert city town famous for its breathtaking palaces and camel breeding farms. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Visit Junagarh Fort, one of Rajasthan's most peculiar fortifications which wasn't constructed over a hill, with amazing interiors and museum pieces. Pass some time at the local bazaars to buy and indulge in Bikaner sweets and snacks, above all the globally famous Bikaneri bhujia. Overnight stay at Bikaner.

DAY 04 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer – Into the Golden Sands

Drive to the scenic desert in your chauffeur-driven vehicle from Bikaner to Jaisalmer, called the "Golden City" because of the yellow sandstone buildings. There are opportunities for halts at small desert settlements along the route and interaction with the locals or having a cup of tea in a retro-looking roadside dhaba. After arrival in Jaisalmer, check into a heritage haveli hotel and relax in the evening. Jaisalmer overnight stay.

DAY 05 - Desert Safari & Jaisalmer Sightseeing

Walk through the massive Jaisalmer Fort, which is still inhabited by thousands of residents, with its winding, turning streets, temples, and craftsman shops. See Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, and Salim Singh Ki Haveli to witness Rajasthan's carefully detailed architecture. Evening, your driver will drop you to Sam Sand Dunes for a fairy-tale desert experience. Enjoy camel ride on golden sand dunes, and then have a cultural night of music, dance, and dinner in open under the night sky. Overnight stay at desert camp or in city.

DAY 06 - Jaisalmer to Jodhpur – The Blue City

Drive to Jodhpur, Rajasthan's well-known Blue City, where blue houses abound and Mehrangarh Fort seems to be hanging above town. Hotel check-in, then for your sightseeing from Mehrangarh Fort. Visit its museum, palaces, and scenic vistas from ramparts. Visit Jaswant Thada, marble cenotaph, and stroll along crowded Sardar Market facing the clock tower. Night halt at Jodhpur.

DAY 07 - Udaipur through Ranakpur – Temples and Peace

Depart after breakfast for Udaipur. Call en route to view the fabled Ranakpur Jain Temples, known for their exquisite marble craftsmanship and 1,444 intricately designed pillars. Drive to Udaipur, the "Lakes" city of romance. Arrive at your lakeside hotel. Take it easy on the lake front or dine at a roof top restaurant nearby. Overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 08 - Udaipur Sightseeing – Romance and Royalty

Begin the day at City Palace, an architectural wonder with captivating views of Lake Pichola. Visit Jagdish Temple and walk in Saheliyon Ki Bari, a serene garden constructed for queenly ladies. Paddle around Lake Pichola in a boat tour, gliding parallel to Jag Mandir and the famous Lake Palace. Evening is spent enjoying a cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli in Rajasthani music genre, puppet show, and folk dance. Overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 09 - Pushkar – Holy Town

Breakfast, followed by a drive to Pushkar, a sacred town renowned for the sacred lake and Temple of Brahma. Check-in to your hotel on arrival, and thereafter take a step towards exploring the spiritual culture of the city. Explore famous Brahma Temple, one of the world's very few, and walk along Pushkar Lake, where the devotees conduct rituals. Go to visit the local ghats and purchase handmade items, jewelry, and rose products. Overnight stay at Pushkar.

DAY 10 - Pushkar to Jaipur – Departure

Take your last breakfast of the tour, then go ahead and return to Jaipur for departure. Your driver will take you to Jaipur Airport or Railway Station for further travel.
