Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival in Delhi

You arrive in Delhi which is the capital of India and you are welcomed and taken to the hotel. Once you have settled, you can take a brief tour of the major streets in New Delhi, provided that there is time.. Passing through India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan or just resting in the hotel to get rid of a tiresome journey. The adventures are predetermined by a classic North Indian dinner.

DAY 02 - Explore Delhi’s Heritage

Begin your hectic day by visiting the magnificent Red Fort of the capital at Old Delhi, where you will have an opportunity to walk or use a rickshaw through the crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and the bloody mess of local bazaars and street food. The highlights of New Delhi in the afternoon: Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar and the Lotus Temple. The agrasy ki baoli or the Lodhi Garden is a good place to get a relaxing wrap up to a culturally enriching day with a quiet stroll.

DAY 03 - Delhi to Neemrana – Royal Beginnings

Out of the city of Delhi to the Neemrana old town (approximately 2.5 hours). It is known to have the Neemrana Fort Palace that is a 15th century fort turned hereditary resort featuring splendid scenery and royal airs. You may choose to spend your day sightseeing at the fort or to have a panoramic view of the nearby Aravalli hills or spend some time at the royal-style pool of the hotel. It is the evening light in the fort that will give beauty to your stay over.

DAY 04 - Neemrana to Mandawa - Gateway to Shekhawati

Head further into the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan to the town of Mandawa whose main attractions are the highly decorated havelis and the classic mansions (approx. 4-5 hours). Following the check-in, visit Mandawa Fort, which is a heritage hotel, and walk in the narrow streets with an array of colorful wall paintings portraying mythology, colonial influence, and folklore. The stay at a heritage haveli ushers you in to the life of the lost aristocracy of merchants.

DAY 05 - Bikaner - Mandawa - Desert Heritage

Breakfast, and then go west to the desert city of Bikaner (about 4 hours). Upon arrival, explore the incredible Junagarh Fort which is a fort whose conquest had never happened before and a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Later, visit the Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok commonly referred to as the Rat Temple. However, the best thing to do during the evening is to stroll in the markets of Bikaner with its camel leathers and taste some spicy local delicacies such as Bikaneri Bhujia.

DAY 06 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer - Into the Thar Desert

Take a scenic (long) drive to Jaisalmer, the city of Gold which comes out of the Thar Desert (approximately 6-7 hours). The yellow sandstone buildings start glittering in the sun as you approach it. You can check in at your hotel, have a light evening with a stroll around Gadisar Lake or a glimpse of the lit up fort in the distance, as a hint of what the desert stories would bring.

DAY 07 - Jaisalmer and Desert Safari Tour

Start your day with a visit to the huge Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the few living forts in the world and still to this day thousands of people can be found living inside the fort. Explore splendid havelis, such as Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, which are of excellent stonework. Afternoon- Travel to the Sam Sand Dunes where there is a camel ride through golden dunes. See an awe-inspiring sunset and then spend some time in a cultural evening with Rajasthani dancing and music under the stars at your desert campsite.

DAY 08 - The Jaisalmer to the Jodhpur - Your City Blue.

Quit Jaisalmer and drive to Jodhpur (approximately 5-6 hours) and may make optional stop to visit the Jain temples in Osian on the way. Reach Jodhpur in the evening where blue houses are waving in the mehndi-garh castle. Wander slowly through the Clock Tower and the Sardar Market where one is supposed to sample the spices, handicraft as well as the street life.

DAY 09 - Discover Jodhpur

Tour the day the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of the biggest in India. These are museums indoors with weapons, palanquins and costumes. The peace, quiet and calm marble cenotaph, Visit Jaswant Thada, the beautiful Umaid Bhawan Palace, some museums, some royal houses and some five star hotels. Visiting attractions at night or having a local dinner or purchasing tie-dyes and silver jewels.

DAY 10 - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur - Temples and Lakes.

Go to Udaipur, passing by Ranakpur (6-7 hours round trip). Visit the Jain Temples of the 15 th century that bear a marvelous carving on marble and 1444 various carved pillars. Then proceed to Udaipur, the Cuddly City of Lakes. Then have your hotel room and have a little rest by the lakeside or take a short evening walk through the old town.

DAY 11 - Udaipur Sightseeing

The complex of the City Palace is the place where one can start with and see the whole picture of Lake Pichola. See the Jagdish Temple and proceed to have a boat ride on Lake with a view of the beautiful Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. Explore the Saheliyon Ki Bari and the Bagore Ki Haveli in the evening where they perform the cultural performances. The royal background and the romanticism of Udaipur makes the place an experience.

DAY 12 - Udaipur to Chittorgarh to Pushkar

After breakfast, drive towards Pushkar making a major stop at Chittorgarh Fort (approx. 6-7 hours total journey). It is a huge fort which narrates of heroism and sacrifice. Visit such important places as Rana Kumbha Palace, the Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory), and the Palace of Padmini. Continue your travel towards Pushkar. Upon arrival, check in hotel and go on a quiet walk around the lake of Pushkar during the cool evening.

DAY 13 - Pushkar Spiritual Life

You should start playing the Brahma Temple which is one of the few in the world. Explore Pushkar lake ghats where everyone carries out rituals throughout the day. Go to local markets with colorful handcrafted products, clothes and spiritual objects.The peaceful and colorful atmosphere of Pushkar offers another picture of Rajasthan, where there is a fusion of spirituality and music.

DAY 14 - Pushkar to Jaipur- enter Pink City.

Travel to Jaipur, the capital of the state (approximately 3 hours). Once you have checked in, begin by going sightseeing with the City Palace and the adjoining Jantar Mantar observatory.Take pictures of the Hawa Mahal the palace of winds. Stop and take photographs at the Hawa Mahal (palace of winds). Take up your nights and visit the colorful bazaars of Bapu and Johari to get textiles, jewelry and souvenirs.

DAY 15 - Jaipur Forts and Cultural Jewels

See the famous Amber Fort in the morning where one can go by jeep or elephant. Visit the Sheesh Mahal and have an overview of Maota Lake. On the way to return, make a stopover at Jal Mahal for photography. Visit the traditional crafts of Jaipur like blue pottery, block printing and gemstone cutting in afternoon. A royal day ends with evening dinner in a heritage haveli with cultural performance.

DAY 16 - Jaipur to Bharatpur - Bird Paradise.

The place where the Keoladeo National Park is located is a UNESCO world heritage, so travel to Bharatpur (approximately 3 hours). On arrival, a ride on a rickshaw around the park can be taken where migratory birds, deer and other animals can be seen in a peaceful wetland environment. A night out is preferable to having a rest or shopping in the nearby markets.

DAY 17 - Bharatpur to Agra (Fatehpur Sikri)

On the road to Agra, you can visit Fatehpur Sikri that is the former Mughal capital to see its historical gates and palaces (1.5 hours to Fatehpur, 1 hour to Agra). Visit Agra, where there is the great Agra Fort. Eve evening time to go to Taj Mahal in the Mehtab Bagh or some shopping of marble inlay and handcraft.

DAY 18 - Agra to Delhi - Departure

A morning visit to the Taj Mahal can be among the best moments to get up early and be covered with soft and golden light. Breakfast, back to Delhi (3-4 hours drive). Last-minute shopping or a small walk around the city is possible depending on when you are to fly.
