Post breakfast, have a full day sight seeing tour of Jaipur. Begin your day by visiting the Amber Fort which is a magnificent hilltop citadel just outside the city. You can go to the fort either through riding on the elephant or jeep. Indoors, it is worth marveling the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) and the royal courtyards that were used by the Rajput kings. Then go on to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) which is a five story building constructed of pink sandstone and hundreds of latticed windows the reason being that royal ladies could look out the windows and see the processions on the street without being observed. Morning drive to Jaisalmer also known as the Golden City due to its construction being made of yellow sandstones which reflect the sunshine in the desert. It is approximately 560 km (910 hours). Alternatively, you may catch an overnight train or a short flight and save your time. Upon arrival, take lunch in the hotel, and relax after such a long ride. Breakfast over and then start exploring Jaisalmer by visiting the grand Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the few surviving forts in the world. Individuals continue to live behind its golden walls. Breakfast and then visit the great Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the largest forts in India. It is built on a mountainous hill and it provides a view of the blue city that is at the bottom. Then proceed to Jaswant Thada, which is a most pleasant marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswart Singh II. Afternoon, visit Udaipur, the last in your sightseeing of Rajasthan.
