Itinerary
DAY 01 - Welcome and Royal Bikanier's First encounter.
Bikaner is accessible by train, bus or car and a representative of friendly Travel People India will pick you and help in checking-in the hotel. After taking a rest, begin to pay a sightseeing visit to Junagarh Fort, one of the prettiest as far as its beautiful courtyards, its stonework. It must also be complemented by the sightseeing of the good Lalgarh Palace with the fusion of the Rajput and the Mughal architecture. Complete the day in the colorful local markets where you would buy handicraft and colored fabrics among other sweet Bikaneri snacks. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
DAY 02 - Life and Culture of Temples.
In the morning, go and visit Karni Mata Temple that is much visited at Deshnok where they worship the holy rats. Go back to Bikaner and pass an afternoon in deserted havelis, ancient streets and markets. It can also be done by riding the local sand dunes in a camel-cart through which one can view the beautiful desert sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 03 - Departure and Camel Breeding farm.
Begin your day with the National Camel Breeding Farm where the popular Bikaneri camels may be seen and how they are taken care of. After spending some recreationary time in last minute shopping, or having photographs taken, then Travel People India will make arrangements to drive you away and leave you with the royal memories of the desert magic in Bikaner.
