Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Arrival in Jaipur – The Royal Welcome

Reach Jaipur, the city of Rajasthan and welcome a representative of Travel People India, who will accompany you to the hotel. Unwind for a while and afterwards proceed on the sightseeing tour of the old Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) and the City Palace Museum with enormous architectural union of Rajput and Mughal art. Visit the Jantar Mantar, a World Heritage Site and world's oldest working observatory. Relax in the evening at a local bazaar or have a local Rajasthani lunch. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

DAY 02 - Jaipur Sightseeing

Breakfast, followed by visit to the beautiful Amber Fort, a hilltop beauty, famous for its awe-inspiring fortifications and mirror work at Sheesh Mahal. Opt for optional elephant ride to ascend up to the fort like maharajas and maharanis. Later, visit the photo stop of Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Evening shopping at Johari and Bapu Bazaar for handicrafts, jewellery, and clothes. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 03 - Jaipur to Mandawa – Artistic Heritage

Leave by breakfast to Mandawa, a small Shekhawati town with magnificent ornate havelis and frescoes. Upon arrival, check-in into the hotel and explore heritage mansions such as Murmuria Haveli and Jhunjhunwala Haveli. Discover the saga of rich traders and gaze in awe at century-old paintings on walls. Night stay in Mandawa.

DAY 04 - Mandawa to Bikaner – Desert Majesty

Post breakfast, drive towards Bikaner. Check in at the hotel and then leave for visiting imposing Junagarh Fort, erected in the 16th century. Explore its palaces, courtyards, and museum. Towards evening, visit the quaint Karni Mata Temple (Rat Temple) at Deshnok, where rats are sacred animals. Overnight at Bikaner.

DAY 05 - Bikanmer to Jaisalmer – The Golden City

Breakfast, then drive to Jaisalmer, a journey over the dry land of the Thar Desert. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax in the evening. You can also go to Gadisar Lake or walk through the colorful local bazaars. Night halt at Jaisalmer.

DAY 06 - Jaisalmer sightseeing and desert experience

Breakfast, and then the tour of Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few "living forts" that has shopping malls, residences, and temples inside. Sightseeing of Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, which are famous for beautiful carvings. Afternoon excursion to Sam Sand Dunes. Camel ride over golden sand dunes and cultural night of folk music and dance. Overnight at a Jaisalmer hotel or desert camp.

DAY 07 - Jaisalmer to Jodhpur—Shades of Blue

Breakfast and then drive to Jodhpur. Arrive and check into your hotel. Begin your exploration with the massive Mehrangarh Fort, which towers above the city and provides stunning views. Drive to Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph, and Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is still a royal palace in part. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 08 - Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur

Morning breakfast, then onward drive to Udaipur. On the way, visit Ranakpur to view the famous Jain Temples, particularly the Chaumukha Temple for which it is famous because of its beautiful marble pillars. Reach Udaipur in the evening and retire to your hotel. Overnight at Udaipur

DAY 09 - Udaipur Sightseeing – City of Lakes

Start the day by paying a visit to the City Palace, facing the Lake Pichola. It should be accompanied by a visit to Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens), and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal. Lake Pichola evening cruise with the romantic views of the stunning Jag Mandir and Lake Palace. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
