Itinerary
DAY 01 - Jaipur – Regal Begin to the Pink City
Arrive at Jaipur and meet with a representative from Travel People India before being dropped at your hotel.Begin the tour at breathtaking Amber Fort, where jeep or elephant ride up to the hill (optional). Stop at City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Evening shopping of fabrics and handicrafts at Johari Bazaar. Night Jaipur.
DAY 02 - Jaipur to Bikaner – Desert Royalty
Breakfast and drive to Bikaner, the city of kings, on the edge of the Thar Desert. Hotel check-in and then visit Junagarh Fort, well-manicured fort with extremely well carved interior. Afternoon trip to National Camel Research Centre, special tour in which you will learn all about and even ride camels. Evening at your leisure or shop at local bazaars. Overnight in Bikaner.
DAY 03 - Bikaner to Jaisalmer – The Golden City
Breakfast, leave for Jaisalmer, drive through scenic desert countryside en route.Arrival in Jaisalmer and check in at hotel/haveli. Leisure evening take a walk around Gadisar Lake and Vyas Chhatri for vista view of sunset on golden sandstone structures. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY 04 - Jaisalmer – Forts, Havelis & Desert Adventure
Breakfast and then proceed to visit Jaisalmer Fort, a living world fort. Visit Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli. Proceed to Sam Sand Dunes in the evening for jeep safari or camel ride. Experience sunset over desert, followed by Rajasthani cultural show, folk dance, and dinner beneath starry night sky. Overnight stay in Desert camp or Jaisalmer hotel.
DAY 05 - Osian – Exotic Temples & Desert Camp
Breakfast at Jaisalmer and then leave for Osian, an ancient desert town which is situated near Jodhpur, known for its stunning temples and serene dunes. Visit Surya Temple and other Jain and Hindu temples of 8th century. Spend the evening at rustic desert camp life with camel ride, sunset view, and serene night away from tourist crowd. Overnight stay at Osian desert camp or resort.
DAY 06 - Osian to Jodhpur – The Blue City
Travel to Rajasthan's Blue City, Jodhpur. Overnight stop at a hotel and tour the massive Mehrangarh Fort, a hill complex, which is the city's dominion. Tour Jaswant Thada, white marble cenotaph, and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Market shopping at clock tower market and savouring spicy street food. Overnight at Jodhpur.
DAY 07 - Udaipur from Jodhpur – The City of Lakes
Morning: Depart from Udaipur in the morning after breakfast, with the optional stop at Ranakpur Jain Temples on the way, famous for 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars. Arrive at Udaipur, and check-in lakeside hotel and relax. Sunset boat ride in the evening on Lake Pichola, and view Jag Mandir and Lake Palace. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
DAY 08 - Udaipur Sightseeing & Departure
Morning after breakfast, visit Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, and City Palace. Shopping for souvenirs in local bazaars. Later transfer to Udaipur Railway Station or Udaipur Airport, the end of your Exotic Rajasthan tour with Travel People India.
