Delhi is the capital of India which is rich in colour, tradition, culture and history. Agra boasts of exquisite Taj Mahal, which is one of the iconic buildings in the world. The wildlife park is Ranthambore where you can find tigers, deer and many other animals in their wild habitat. It is an easy and simple tour which is easy to follow and has ample time to relax and enjoy all the places.
Itinerary
DAY 01 - Arrival in Delhi
Land at Delhi airport and book into your hotel. Once you have freshed up, begin to explore the city. Go to the Red Fort which is a large building of red stone with a lot of history. Next visit Jama Masjid, an attractive ancient mosque. Then have a short tour around India gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan to visit the government buildings. Children will be fascinated by the huge lawns and monuments. Evenings can be spent in a little neighboring market or can be spent at the hotel. Overnight stay and dinner, Delhi.
DAY 02 - Travel and Sightseeing at Delhi, Travel to Agra.
Visit Humayun Tomb, a lovely garden tomb constructed out of red sandstone and marble after breakfast. The next site is to visit Qutub Minar, the tallest sovereign tower made out of bricks in India which is amusing to see and take photographs. Sightseeing: Take off Delhi to Agra (34 hours by road). Upon arrival, check in your hotel and have a rest. During the evenings, walk within the city or relax in the hotel pool. Evening and a night stay in Agra.
DAY 03 - Agra Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Commence the morning by visiting the Taj Mahal, the white marble monument which was a masterpiece by the Emperor Shah Jahan in the whole world. The gardens and large reflecting pools will be popular among kids and adults. Take lots of photos! Then you should go to Agra Fort which is a massive fort enclosed by a wall, gates and rooms that narrate the tales of the kings and queens. You can visit the Taj Mahal in another perspective after lunch by visiting Mehtab Bagh, a garden located on the other side of the river. During the evening local desserts such as petha. DAY 04 - Agra to Ranthambore -Wildlife Adventure.
Breakfast and then drive to Ranthambore National Park (approximately 56 hours). It is among the finest wildlife reserves in India where wild animals such as tigers can be found. Upon arrival, register in your resort and have a rest. Spend time in the beautiful environment or take a short walk in nature in the evening. Evening meal and one night in Ranthambore.
DAY 05 - Ranthambore Safari and Departure.
Early mornings wake up and go on a morning safari at Ranthambore National Park. You can see tigers, leopards, deer, monkeys, peacocks and a great many others. Tour leaders will tell you about the animals and the forest and the interesting facts about them. Breakfast, pack and leave the hotel and either go back to Delhi (takes approximately 6 to 7 hours) or go to Jaipur or any other city in accordance with your travel schedule.
