Itinerary
DAY 01 - Arrival Delhi
Reach in Delhi and get in your hotel, and relax. Visit the red fort after lunch which is a large red sandstone fort constructed by Shah Jahan. Circambulate about its gates, halls and open courts. The second destination is Jama Masjid which is among the largest mosques in India. Take the stairs and have a look at the rush streets below. Then, later, visit Chandni Chowk which is a colorful market street. Sample some local dishes such as chaat, samosas and jalebi. During the evening, go to IndiaGate, which is a war memorial with a lawn and fountains. Dinner and stay in your hotel in Delhi.
DAY 02 - New Delhi Tour
Begin with Qutub Minar, which is the highest tower made of brick and well carved. Then go to Humayun tomb, a serene garden tomb featuring wonderful architecture. The next place to visit after lunch is the Lotus Temple which is designed like a lotus flower where you can relax and take pictures. Pass by Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament house and Rajpath to view government buildings of Delhi. Spend the night at Lodhi Garden which is a green park with tombs and walk paths. Children are able to play and feed birds. Evening and settle at your Hotel in Delhi.
DAY 03 - Museums & Cultural Spots
Visit the National Museum, and after seeing the history, art and culture of India, have breakfast. Examine old coins, weapons, paintings and so on. Then, go to Gandhi Smriti where Mahatma Gandhi passed away. Visit museum and gardens. After lunch, visit the Connaught Place, which is the largest shopping centre in Delhi. Go to town cafes, shops and streets. During the evening, go to Akshardham Temple including architecture, exhibitions, and light-and-water show. Love gardens and cultural exhibitions. Go back to hotel and have dinner and stay overnight.
DAY 04 - Delhi to Agra
Depart Agra after taking breakfast. See the world-renowned Taj Mahal the white marble structure of love constructed by Shah Jahan. Play photographs and stroll in the gardens. Then go to Agra Fort, which is an extensive and massive red sandstone fort comprising palaces, halls, and gardens. Then go out shopping in the local market places with handicrafts and souvenirs. Spend the night and dinner at your hotel in Agra.
DAY 05 - Fatehpur Sikri- Jaipur.
Breakfast, and drive off to Jaipur. Going by, see Fatehpur Sikri which is an old city constructed by Emperor Akbar. Visit the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid and others. Drive to Jaipur, get into your hotel and sleep. During the evening, go to the local markets, shop and eat Rajasthani snacks. Jaipur Dinner and stay.
DAY 06 - Jaipur City Tour
Begin with Amber Fort, a magnificent hill top fort, palaces and courtyards. This takes you to the fort by riding a jeep or an elephant. Then, go to City Palace, a royal palace consisting of museums and courtyards. Then visit Jantar Mantar which is an astronomical observatory equipped with huge instruments. Post lunch visit Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds which has unique windows. Go shopping at the local markets of traditional crafts. Lodging and supper at Jaipur.
DAY 07 - Jaipur to Bengaluru
Travel by air to Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka in the morning. Go into hotel and get rested. Afternoon Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a major garden of flowers and trees and a glass house. Then go to Cubbon Park, which is a green area of the city. Evening free shopping at MG road or Brigade road. Dining and accommodation at Bengaluru hotel.
DAY 08 - Bengaluru to Mysuru
Mysore tour drive, post breakfast. You should first visit Mysore Palace which is a royal palace that has a grand architecture and colorful interiors. Then explore Chamundi hill and Chamundeshwari Temple where one can view the city panoramically. Post lunch visit St. Philomena Church and markets around it. Evening freetime shopping Mysuru has renowned silk and handicraft. Evening and stay at Mysurhotel.
DAY 09 - Coorg Excursion
Drive to Coorg is a coffee plantation and greenery hill station. See Abbey falls which is a lovely waterfall and is enclosed in trees. Tour coffee estates and coffee making. Visit Raja Seat, where there is a scenic sunset or sunrise. Take a walk or a little time in the nature. Overnight and dinner at Coorg.
DAY 10 - Coorg Departure to Chennai.
Streak back to Bengaluru and board on a flight to Chennai. Visit Marina Beach: This is a long sandy beach and is ideal to walk and have rest. Then go to Kapaleeshwarar Temple which is a colorful and ancient temple. Shopping of local souvenirs and snacks. You can have a relaxing picture evening before taking off Chennai to go home or move on with your trip depending on the time of departure.
