Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Delhi to Jaipur Journey

Begin the day by driving out of Delhi towards Jaipur in the morning; this normally takes 56 hours. On arrival, get into your hotel and take a short rest before you go out to do sightseeing. The first one is to visit the iconic Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds. DAY 02 - Jaipur Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel then take out all day on sightseeing. Begin with a trip to the Amber Fort which is a fort-palace on a hill. It will be accessed using a jeep or walking up the ramp. Between the walls, visit the Sheesh Mahal, the Hall of Mirrors, in which even a small-sized lamp illuminates the whole room with the reflections. Other places to see include Amber Fort, then go to Jal Mahal which is in the middle of a lake. The palace seems to be suspended on the water and it is a good place to take pictures. It is not possible to enter, but the view itself is memorable. Then, after lunch, visit Jantar Mantar which is an observatory of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. The stone tools here were timed using and observed stars. It is amazing to children and adults to see such large scientific devices of the past.Then, later, as you walk through local handicraft stores, artists present block -printed fabrics, miniature paintings and custom jewelry. DAY 03 - Jaipur to Udaipur

Take Jaipur to Udaipur drive off after breakfast; it takes approximately 67 hours. You go through small towns, fields and the shifting scenery. Little pauses along the path make the ride not too uncomfortable. It should be afternoon/evening when you arrive in Udaipur and get into your hotel. After taking time and relaxing, proceed to Lake Pichola which is the most well known lake in Udaipur. The City Palace, Jag Mandir and Aravalli hills are clearly visible in case of a boat ride. The lake experiences evening sunlight that forms a golden glow which is very relaxing.Take a stroll around the retail outlets in the neighborhood of the lake after the boat ride. Handicrafts, paintings, silver jewelry, and colorful lamps may be purchased. Parents can buy souvenirs as children have fun eating street snacks. Dine out in the evening and spend the night in Udaipur.

DAY 04 - Sightseeing and Embarking on a Drive around Udaipur and Drive to Mount Abu.

Begin your day early by paying a visit to the great City Palace of Udaipur which is one of the largest palaces in Rajasthan. A mix of Mughal and Rajput, the palace has a view of the large Lake Pichola as seen through the balconies. The museum exhibits miniature paintings, royal appendages, silver furniture and armor. Then go to Saheliyon Ki Bari which is a garden constructed to meet the requirements of royal ladies. It comprises marble fountains, flower beds and pavilions. You can visit the famous Dilwara Temples, which are Jain temples that contain well carved marble figures after breakfast. The decorations of the ceilings, pillars, and walls resemble the stone lace. The temples are serene and they form some of the best illustrations of Indian art.Then go to the Guru Shikhar, the tallest in Rajasthan. The top of the hill has an extensive panoramic view of the Aravalli hills and valleys. It is popular among children and adults due to the cool breeze and fresh air.Then, later, spend more time in Nakki Lake. Families will have an opportunity to ride another short boat, purchase some souvenirs at the roadside kiosks, and have a taste of some simple snacks.
