Itinerary
DAY 01 - Reach Delhi.
You will start your journey in Delhi, which is the lively capital of India. A member of the Travel People India team will greet you in a friendly manner when you get to the airport or railway station. In Delhi, history and modernity go hand in hand as old monuments appear next to bustling markets and big roads. After you arrive, you can either rest or join a short tour, based on the time of your arrival. When you have time, stop at a local market or taste an Indian dish. Your overnight stay will take place in Delhi.
DAY 02 - Explore Delhi
Begin the day by having a nice breakfast before joining the explorations in Delhi. Stop by the impressive Red Fort, which represents India’s Mughal traditions and is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, visit Jama Masjid, a stunning mosque and one of the biggest in India. Next, go to Raj Ghat, which is the site dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, to consider the history of India’s independence. Later on, let your driver give you a tour past India Gate, the President’s House, and the Parliament building.
DAY 03 - Delhi To Agra (4 hours drive from Delhi)
Soon after breakfast, take a drive to Agra, known across the world for the Taj Mahal. When you reach your destination, make use of your hotel’s facilities to refresh yourself. Go to the Taj Mahal, a magnificent mausoleum, made by Emperor Shah Jahan to remember his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The monument becomes especially beautiful when you visit during sunrise or sunset. Visit the Agra Fort afterwards, a huge red sandstone fort that outlines the power and glory of the Mughals. If it is possible, you can pay a visit to Itimad-ud-Daulah’s tomb, which is popularly called the ‘Baby Taj.’ You will stay overnight in Agra.
DAY 04 - Agra to Fatehpur Sikri, Then Jaipur
Depart from Agra ahead of time and see Fatehpur Sikri, which is both empty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city’s beautifully maintained palaces, courtyards, and mosques allow visitors to see Mughal history and great architecture. When you visit Fatehpur Sikri, move on to Jaipur, which is called the Pink City because all its buildings are pink. After reaching your destination, go to the hotel to check in and take some time to relax. If you have some time available, walk around at night near the market to see a variety of colorful items for sale. Passengers spend a night in Jaipur.
DAY 05 - Take a Jaipur City Tour
At the beginning of your day, go to the Amber Fort, a hilltop palace that is beautiful and offers beautiful views. Instead of walking, you can choose to ride an elephant or a jeep all the way to the fort entrance. Then, proceed to the City Palace, which mixes Rajasthani and Mughal styles and is where the Jaipur royal family lives. Go to the Jantar Mantar, a historical observatory with unusual instruments for observing and predicting events in the sky. Spend your last hours visiting Hawa Mahal, which has a recognizable honeycomb design. Go back to your hotel to spend the night.
DAY 06 - Travel from Jaipur to Ayodhya
Today, you are going to travel to Ayodhya, which Hindu tradition considers both Lord Rama’s birthplace and a holy city. Ayodhya gives a calm and spiritually charged atmosphere to its visitors. Pay a visit to sacred Hindu temples on arrival, for example, the Ram Janmabhoomi complex and Hanuman Garhi. By going along the Sarayu River, you can feel the peaceful and devoted atmosphere in this city. Spend a night in Ayodhya to feel the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
DAY 07 - Visit Ayodhya, Transfer to Delhi, and Finish the Tour
