Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival in Delhi

  Reach at the airport or railway station of Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Since this is the initial day, the timetable is not tensed and has very little travelling. Upon check-in and rest, start heritage exploration by a visit to the Qutub Minar that is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites with Indo-Islamic architectural features. Next, go to Humayun Tomb, which is one more UNESCO site that was used to design the Taj Mahal. Free time/Afternoon / Evening/ visit local market. Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 02 - Delhi Heritage exploration

  Following breakfast, Delhi sightseeing asks you to visit Red Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is a symbolic figure of the Mughal power and architecture. Next, visit Jama Masjid which is one of the largest in India. Pass by India gate and Rashtrapati bhavan. Free time in the evening or optional cultural performance. Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 03 - Delhi to Agra

  Breakfast and then drive to Agra through the expressway. Reach the hotel, check in and relax. Explore the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage and a Seven Wonder of the World. Subsequently visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO site where there are royal palaces and courtyards. Evening to spare time to shop or have some culture. Overnight stay in Agra.

DAY 04 - Agra- Jaipur

  After breakfast, go to Jaipur by car and make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, which is a world heritage structure constructed by Emperor Akbar. Visit Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid and Panch Mahal, as well as Tomb of Salim Chishti. Move on to Jaipur and enter a hotel. Evening free for relaxation. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 05 - Jaipur Exploration

  Once you have breakfast, start sightseeing by visiting Amber Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage site that has a grand architecture that is built at the top of the hill. Future sightseeing of Jantar Mantar Observatory (UNESCO site) and City Palace. Take a break at Hawa Mahal to take photographs. Evening at leisure to shop in local markets. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 06 - Jaipur to Khajuraho

  Breakfast, and then leave for the airport to catch a flight for Khajuraho. On arrival at the hotel check in and rest. Then visit Khajuraho Group of Monuments which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is characterized by complex sculptures on the temples portraying life, spirituality, and art. Take a light and sound show in the evening in the temple complex. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

DAY 07 - Khajuraho to Varanasi

  In the morning, go to Varanasi by road/train/flight. Arrive, book into the hotel and have a rest. During the evening visit Dashashwamedh Ghat to experience the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony, a religious ceremony that is peculiar to Varanasi. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

DAY 08 - Varanasi Spiritual and Cultural Heritage

  Pre-dawn boat ride on River Ganga to observe sunrise ceremonies and day to day activities along the ghats. Explore the old lanes of the old city and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Visit Sarnath, a UNESCO world heritage site where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon and visit Dhamek Stupa and archaeological museum. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

DAY 09 - Varanasi to Mumbai

  Breakfast, transfers to the airport, flight to Mumbai. Arrive, check into the hotel and relax. Leisure time or optional walk into the city during the evening along Marine drive. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

DAY 10 - Aurangabad to Mumbai

Breakfast, then to the airport and board the flight to Aurangabad. On arrival, start your excursion to Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where there are rock cut Hindu, Buddhist and Jain temples. See Kailasa Temple, the biggest monolithic building in the world. One night in Aurangabad.

DAY 11 - Departure

  Have breakfast and proceed to visit Ajanta Caves which is a UNESCO world heritage site with ancient Buddhist cave paintings with carvings dating back to 2nd century BCE. Movement to airport or railroad station later at Aurangabad as the destination of onward travel and that is the end of the India UNESCO World Heritage Tour.
