Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Jaipur Welcome to Pink city.

Arrive at Jaipur airport or railway station, a cordial welcome would be given to you by a smiling representative who would help you to reach the hotel. After the snacks, take a stroll in the dark through the lively Jaipur streets. The markets are festive thanks to the lit markets, the gleaming handicrafts and aroma of the Rajasthani snacks. Make the first steps to the Pink City, have a traditional welcome dinner in the hotel and rest to spend your first night in Jaipur.

DAY 02 - Jaipur architectural sightseeing.

You can begin by taking a fine breakfast, and then visit the great forts and palaces of Jaipur. The first would be the Amber Fort, the magnificent piece of the building by Rajput which would provide you with an opportunity to see the glittering Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and even ride an elephant or a jeep into the main yard. Then proceed to the City Palace which is also the home of the royal family and where they have museums, displaying royal costumes, arms and art. You would be awestruck by the astronomical wonders of Jantar Mantar, which would be followed by a photo stop of the most renowned Hawa Mahal, the Palace of winds, whose elaborate front is made of sandstone in pink. By night, you can go shopping in the bazaars in town where you will get colorful fabrics, jewelry and handcrafts. Go to your hotel and have dinner and spend the night at Jaipur.

DAY 03 - Ranthambore Jaipur -Into the Wild.

Break in the morning and drive to the Ranthambore National Park (approximately 4-hour drive) that is one of the most popular and well known national parks of Indians and where tigers live. Upon arrival, go to a resort full of greenery in a jungle. In the afternoon, discover the jungle in an open top vehicle, an adventure tour where you would be quite vigilant in seeing the great Royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, sloth bear and many varieties of birds. It is a memory to keep as it is exciting to watch wild animals in their natural habitat. Spend the night in the resort, bonfire, or stroll over nature. Ranthambore Overnight stay.

DAY 04 - Morning drive and safari to Chittorgarh and afternoon drive to Jaspi.

The other safari is suggested to commence your day early enough such that there is a high probability of getting the elusive animals on the cool morning hours. Break and drive to Chittorgarh (about 6 hours by road), the place where there are stories of sacrifice and heroism. Get to the hotel and rest after travelling. In the evening walk across the city or go to the sound-and-light show in the fort (depending on the time). Chittorgarh- overnight.

DAY 05 - Sightseeing of Chittorgarh Fort of Courage.

The discussion will be devoted today to the famous Chittorgarh Fort that belongs to the list of the greatest forts in India and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit its great palaces, old gates and spectacular towers like Vijay Stambh and Kirti Stambh (Tower of fame and Tower of fame respectively). Hear the tales of gallant actions, godliness of Queen Padmini and spirit of the notion of Rajput pride that is heard in the ramparts. Then switch on your visit to Udaipur (about 4 hours). Get there, spend the night in a hotel where the city meets the lake and with the lights of the city glowing on the water, have a serene evening at the lake and the city. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

DAY 06 - Udaipur – The City of Lakes

Wake up to the beauty of Udaipur otherwise referred to as the Venice of the East. The very first thing that you will visit in your sightseeing is the magnificent City Palace which is a huge complex of courtyards, balconies and luxurious interiors with great lakesight. See Jagdish Temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Saheliyon-ki-Bari, which is the beautiful pond with fountains and marble pavilions. An evening boat ride on the Lake Pichola is also the best option in the evening as one gets to sail by the large Lake Palace and the Island of Jag Mandir whereby there are the opportunities of taking romantic photos of the sun set. DAY 07 - Farewell to Rajasthan

One can enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then have a final stroll along the lakeside or purchase the souvenirs in the shape of miniature paintings, silver jewelry or colorful Rajasthani textile. You can visit Udaipur railway station or airport according to your time schedule and proceed with your journey carrying with you the invaluable memories of royal familiarity of Rajasthan, wild safari, and scenic landscape.
