Start your tour package to the desert with arrival at Bikaner, a sandstone fort city and camel trading centurion city. Receive by travel People India and drive to the hotel. Evening trip to Junagarh Fort, one of the architecturally lovely ones with marvellous interiors and imperial lineage. Visit Lalgarh Palace and take an evening walk on Kote Gate Bazaar with handicrafts, snacks, and local desert products. Evening night halt at Bikaner.
Post-breakfast road trip to Jaisalmer, the 'Golden City',' so also known due to yellow sandstone structures that shine golden in sunlight over desert. Night stay at a restored haveli or heritage boutique hotel. Afternoon/Evening: Visit serene Gadisar Lake, an artificial oasis ringed by pavilions and shrines. Enjoy sunset over desert gold at Vyas Chhatri, the cenotaph vantage point over the desert. Night stay at Jaisalmer.
Spend the day meandering in amazement about Jaisalmer Fort, a live fort on the planet settled by hundreds of dwellers. Ramble about its narrow alleyways, visiting temples, coffee shops, and boutiques pinched between structures hundreds of years old. Walk about to these magnificent Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli, each with three carvings with unique Rajasthani architectural features. Mall this afternoon at the Bazaar for handloom, puppets, silver jewels, and sewn wallets. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Leave the village and drive to Khuri, which is a desert town known for its wonderful sand dunes and rural-like setting. Unwind and relax at your desert camp in the serene atmosphere. Evening: Campfire folk music and dance show followed by a royal Rajasthani dinner under an evening desert night with lots of stars. Night stay at a Khuri desert camp.
Breakfast and drive to Jodhpur, better known as the Blue City due to the blue colour of the hue of its old city. Hotel overnight. Explore gigantic Mehrangarh Fort, bursting forth from a rock outcrop face in surprise. Enter, strolling across courtyards, palaces, and galleries full of queens' and kings' memories. Walk to Jaswant Thada, the white marble cenotaph, and Sardar Market around Clock Tower to buy spices, antiques, and handicraft items. Stay overnight at Jodhpur.
Drive to Osian, ancient desert town and erstwhile great trading hub. Explore the renowned Osian Jain Temples, renowned for their architectural worth and historical importance. Afternoon: Camel ride over Osian dunes, thorn thickets and isolated villages in between. Return to your desert camp for another magical desert night of music, dance, and local delicacies under starry skies. Overnight at Osian desert camp.
Back to Jodhpur for a day off. Explore the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, which exposes the lavish lifestyle of the former royal folks, or pedal on to other nearby stepwells such as Toorji Ka Jhalra. Optional – cooking lesson, food tour, or excursion to a Bishnoi village, from where you can observe ancient desert traditions and horticultural practices. Night stop at Jodhpur.
Breakfast, and off to Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station for further travel. A final glance at Rajasthan's golden beaches, royal palaces, and friendly people.
