When you reach Udaipur, we provide you a representative who will receive you at the railway station, the airport, or the bus stand and take you to your hotel to check in. Upon a slight rest, a day of sightseeing will start with triumphant City Palace, which is a huge complex of palaces that have been constructed throughout several centuries. Stroll around its courtyards, balconies, and museums displaying royal portraits, weapons and works of art.And right there is the Jagdish Temple, a stunning 17th-century Hindu temple in honor of Lord Vishnu. It has beautifully polished pillars and idols made of stone, a calming religious point of stop with relevance to history.In the evening move to Lake Pichola that is most sublime and captivating sites in the city. Have a boat ride into Lake Palace, complex of City palace and reachend to Jag Mandir which is an island palace over calm waters. Visit 1920s and 1930s Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Cadillacs, and more! Learn about what luxury automobiles in the 20th century was.Visit an evening cultural performance in a heritage building in Gangaur Ghat by the Bagore Ki Haveli. The folk music, Rajasthani folk dances and puppet shows make the Mewar spirit come alive. Wander around the museum of the haveli after the show or go to the ghats and take a ride back to the hotel.
Begin your day with breakfast and then drive to Sajjangarh Palace also called Monsoon Palace. This white marble building is constructed on a hill and has a panoramic view of the Udaipur city and lakes around the city. It is a wonderful place to photograph and view the geography of the city in a real sense.The next stop is Shilpgram, a village-like arts and crafts center which demonstrates life and the culture of Rajasthan and other nearby states. There are artisans working, you can purchase handicrafts, and possibly even see some occasional performances in case you visit during the festivals. After lunch, visit Udaipur city and enjoy the rest of the afternoon in the markets. You can find colorful fabrics, embroidered garments, miniature paintings, silver ornaments and mojris (traditional footwear) at Hathipole Bazaar, Bada Bazaar or Clock Tower Market. It is a living cultural experience with the crowded alleys, the smell of the street food, and the commotion of both tourists and natives.
Your last day will be a breakfast and a checkout at the hotel. Prior to departure, make a brief drive to Eklingji, approximately 22 km away, in Udaipur. It is an old temple compound devoted to Lord Shiva and one of the most spiritually vital places in Mewar. The building has exquisitely carved columns and a serene surrounding.Nagda is situated nearby, an archaeological place which has 10 th century temples. Its tranquil lakes and hills surround the magnificent Sas-Bahu Temples with their beautiful stone carvings that create a soothing experience all by themselves. These ancient ruins are a form of architectural excellence of the past, and also less busy so that you have ample space to gaze upon them in peace. Our driver is going to take you to the airport, railway station or bus stand depending on your departure time.
