DAY 01 - Arrival in Udaipur – City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola Boat Ride & Jag Mandir

Your trip starts when you land in Udaipur. We will meet our representative at the airport, railway station or any other mode of transport on the land and welcome you with a smile and a transfer to the hotel where you would be provided a lunch box on the way.After having eaten and rested, we would visit the marvelous City Palace which is the most popular piece of work in Udaipur. The palace is a representation of the might of the Mewar dynasty with its elaborate decorated balconies, glasswork, and courtyards as well as historical displays.Within walking distance, you can find the Jagdish Temple, a significant spiritual place that is carved and adorned exquisitely, built in the seventeenth century and dedicated to Lord Vishnu.With the onset of evening, you should take a boat ride at Lake Pichola which is relaxing. Start your day after breakfast with a visit to the beautiful Fateh Sagar Lake which is an emerald green water body in the middle of the green hillocks. You can have an optional boat ride to Nehru Garden located on an island in the lake.Next, enter the peaceful and artistic Saheliyon Ki Bari, a royal ladies garden. It has lotus ponds, fountains, and marble pavilions, a great place to relax.Then pack a visit to the Vintage Car Museum which has a staggering display of royal cars; classic Rolls-Royces, Cadillacs, etc. Here, there is a classical Rajasthani puppet performance and dance which portrays a colorful culture of the state in a vibrant atmosphere. Return to your hotel to spend the night after the show.

DAY 03 - Sajjangarh Palace, Shilpgram Village

On the third day, have breakfast, then go to see the Sajjangarh Palace or the Monsoon Palace. Sitting on the top of a hill, it has tremendous views of the lakes and lower down the city, particularly at early mornings and evenings.Continue to Shilpgram which is a tiny outskirts craft village only few kilometers away in the city. You will be able to stroll through artisan huts, watch folk dance (seasonal) and buy hand crafted items directly out of the hands of local craftsmen here.Back in the city you can spend your afternoon wandering through local markets of Udaipur.

DAY 04 - Day Excursion to Eklingji Temple, Nathdwara & Haldighati

Following an early breakfast we will depart on a morning spiritual and historical touring upcountry side of the main city. Your initial destination is the sacred Eklingji Temple located about 22 kilometers away south of Udaipur. The temple complex is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is an idyllic setting of a little shrine.Next is a visit to Nathdwara, the shrine of the Shrinathji Temple which is a pilgrimage site of Vaishnavite followers. The rituals and colorful local market establish a vibrant spiritual atmosphere in the temple.In the afternoon, continue to Haldighati, the ancient battle site where Maharana Pratap fought the Mughals. The museum at Haldighati gives a descriptive account of the battle and valour of warriors of Mewar. Closely located is the Chetak Memorial, a statue of Annai Pratap, Pratap Maharana's loyal horse. You could also go to the rose product center, and purchase Gulkand or rose soaps as a souvenir, and then come back to Udaipur in the evening.

DAY 05 - Leisure Morning – Departure from Udaipur

On the last day in Udaipur, you will have a leisurely breakfast. Assuming that you have enough time to spare before you leave on your trip, you could take a leisurely morning walk around Lake Swaroop Sagar or visit again your most liked local cafe to have a snack or buy some souvenirs.Our staff will also arrange your handover to the Udaipur airport, railway station or bus stand at a convenient time according to your travel plan.
