The last destination is the Golden City of Jaisalmer where one can live the desert life and ride a camel over and observe the sandstone havelis in the city.

Itinerary

DAY 01 - Udaipur Arrival and the city sightseeing.

Arrive in Udaipur and take room in a hotel. On returning, begin sightseeing with the City Palace which is a grand complex that has a view of Lake Pichola. Visit the courtyards, the museum of royalty and paintings and have a panoramic view of the city and the lake. Next see Jagdish Temple, an old temple adjacent to the palace which is carved up. During afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola and watch the reflections of City Palace, Lake Palace and the hills around it. The serene waters are where one can capture some pictures and have a rest. Go to local markets in the evening, e.g. Hathi Pol Bazaar or Bada Bazaar. You may buy handicrafts, mini-paintings, textiles and souvenirs, and have street food, such as kachori, samosa or sweets. Back to your hotel and have dinner and spend the night in Udaipur.

DAY 02 - Udaipur to Jaipur and City tour.

Breakfast, then check out and drive to Jaipur (approximately 67 hours) making comforting stops on the way. Once there, go into your hotel and take lunch. Begin with Amber Fort, a great fort on a hill out of town. Triumph: The palaces, halls, and courtyards. Children also have fun to ride on a jeep or an Elephant to get to the fort entrance and offers excellent views of Jaipur. The second place, which is royal and architectural, is the City Palace, including courtyards and museums of artifacts and weapons. Then visit Jantar Mantar, the ancient observatory containing huge stone instruments of sky observation. Then come later to Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, which is pink on the outside and has numerous small windows. Shop in the evening in Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar which has textiles, jewelry and handicrafts. Dine in hotel and spend the night in Jaipur.

DAY 03 - Jaipur Jodhpur Mehrangarh fort.

In the morning, have a breakfast and proceed to Jodhpur (approximately 56 hours) taking a sightseeing tour of the countryside. Get into your hotel and lunch. Afternoon at Mehrangarh Fort, which is regarded as one of the largest forts in India with its magnificent palaces, halls, courtyards, and museums. The fort has got a panoramic view of the panoramic blue city and the hills. Then pay a visit to Jaswant Thada, which is a white marble cenotaph having peaceful gardens. Get out and go on a small stroll through the tranquil environment and take pictures. Visit Sardar Market, a shop that deals with handicrafts, textiles, spices and souvenirs in the evening. Have some local snacks such as mirchi vada or mawa kachori. Stay the night in Jodhpur.

DAY 04 - Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and Deserts Adventure.

Breakfast, drive out of the hotel and to Jaisalmer (approximately 56 hours). On arrival, get into your hotel and have lunch. Pay a visit to Jaisalmer fort which is an expansive sandstone fort situated in the centre. Stroll its small streets, see its temples, palaces and the small shops. Next go to Patwon Ki Haveli which is an ancient mansion carved with intricate carvings and balconies. In the future, have a desert safari in Sam Sand Dunes. Ride camels, enjoy the sunset in the golden desert, and make numerous photos. Either in the evening, observe a Rajasthani music and folk dance performance. Go back to the hotel and dine and remain in Jaisalmer.

DAY 05 - Jaisalmer Sightseeing and Departure

In the morning visit the Gadi Sagar Lake that is a calm lake containing temples and small shops. Make photo memories and have fun in the calm environment. Stroll later in local markets around the Jaisalmer Fort to discover handicrafts, textiles as well as jewelry and souvenirs.Then after a while you can check out of your hotel and proceed with your journey or next destination.
