Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival in Udaipur

Reach Udaipur, and get into your hotel. Begin with a visit to a large palace of Rajasthan City Palace. It contains spacious halls, beautiful courtyards and a museum containing the treasures of the royal family. Then boat ride on Lake Pichola. It is a unique experience because of the serene water and the sight of the palaces. You can also walk along the lake and just relax. During the evening, go to the markets and buy handcrafts and jewels. Local snacks can also be eaten in small food stalls.  There are lights and music on the colored streets.  Udaipur is even prettier in the evening as the wind blows in the evening.  Overnight stay in Udaipur.

DAY 02 - Udaipur Sightseeing

Continue to sightsee Udaipur after breakfast. Tour Jagdish Temple which is a high structure with numerous carvings. Then get to the lovely Saheliyon Ki Bari gardens or Gardens of the Maids. They are equipped with fountains, marble elephants among other materials that appear celebratory.  Then later on you should visit Fateh Sagar Lake, which is another natural lake and where you can go kayaking or take a boat ride. Another place to visit is the Vintage Car Museum where one can find cars used by kings. During the evening watch a cultural performance or have traditional Rajasthani food. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 03 - Udaipur to Jodhpur

After breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur. The drive is approximately five or six hours. You will pass by small villages and expansive desert areas. Reach Jodhpur, have breakfast in the hotel and sleep. The next thing to do is to visit the Clock Tower Market in the evening, which is a bustling area with spices, handmade products, and vibrant fabrics. The houses surrounding the market are painted in blue making the city appear special. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 04 - Jodhpur Sightseeing

Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India, and, after breakfast, one should visit it. Looking up from the Mehrangarh Fort you will see the entire city in blue. There are palaces, weapons, and paintings inside depicting the past story. Then visit Jaswant Thada, a memorial made of marble in remembrance of the kings. It is very calm due to its carvings and gardens. Then continue to drive by Umaid Bhawan Palace which is a large palace that continues to host the royal family. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

DAY 05 - Departure from Jodhpur

Check out of your hotel after eating breakfast. You can go back to the markets, to buy some famous items from Jodhpur or walk once around the city, depending on the time of the departure of your flight or train. That will be followed by being brought to the airport or the train station by someone later. Carry sweet memories along of Udaipur lakes and the blue city of Jodhpur.
