Itinerary

DAY 01 - Day 1 Welcome to Haridwar / Rishikesh.

Reach Haridwar or Rishikesh and put up in your hotel. Relax and refresh after travelling. One should go to the quiet Ganga Aarti in the evening at Har Ki Pauri or Triveni Ghat. Your mind is made ready for the Himalayan experience with the spiritual ambience, sound of bells and river chants. It is also possible to visit the local markets or cafes on the side of the rivers. DAY 02 - Day 2: Haridwar / Rishikesh -Joshimath.

DAY 03 - Day 3: Joshimath -Govindghat -Ghangaria.

In the morning, breakfast and then go to the point of the trek, Govindghat. It is approximately 10-12 km that starts here and you begin your walk to Ghangaria. The path is through the Pushpawati River and falls and the green forests. Pony and palki services can be used by people requiring some help. The climb is slow and picturesque, and it is pleasant even for beginners. DAY 04 - Day 4: Ghangaria Valley of flowers Ghangaria.

Eat an early breakfast and start the walk to Valley of flowers National Park. The entrance gate leads to a fairy world of colorful flowers, ice, rivers, and mountainous backgrounds. You will find some Himalayan flowers such as Blue Poppy, Cobra Lily and Brahma Kamal (seasonal). Take time to wander, take photographs and enjoy the silence of nature. When it is in the season of blossoms, the valley resembles a natural carpet of colors. Sight seeing, then walk back to Ghangaria in the evening. DAY 05 - Day 5: Ghangaria- Hemkund Sahib- Ghangaria.

In the morning, begin the walk to Hemkund Sahib which is one of the highest Gurudwaras in the world. It is a spiritual journey that is taxing. Hemkund Sahib is peacefully enclosed by snow peaks and a lake of glacial nature. Pilgrims make a sacred dip into the lake and pray in the Gurudwara. Brahma Kamal flowers are also located nearby. Darshan, walk back to Ghangaria. Spend the day after this religious tour of the Valley of Flowers and then unwind after a great day. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.

DAY 06 - Day 6: Ghangaria -Govindghat -Rishikesh

Trek, after breakfast, down Ghangaria to Govindghat. Here, back to Rishikesh / Haridwar. In the reverse trip, there is again the scenic Himalayan views and river confluences.
