Tour Highlights
Reach Haridwar and book in the hotel. The initial day is made light to enable the pilgrims to rest after travelling. Another place to see in the evening is Har Ki Pauri where you can be present at the Ganga Aarti. The bells and the chanting of the tunes make it very spiritual. Dinner and stay at Haridwar.
Breakfast and then by road to Barkot. The road runs along riverbanks, woodland and remote hill towns. On arriving at Barkot, have dinner at your hotel and rest. The evening is at liberty of rest and silent prayer. Overnight and dinner at Barkot.
Early morning ascend to Janki Chatti which is the base point of Yamunotri. Start the hike to Yamunotri Temple slowly. Pony or palki services will be provided at the request. Taking a holy dip in Suraya Kund and praying at the temple at Yamunotri. Take time in taking in the tranquil environment. Darshan, and go back to Barkot. Overnight and dinner at Barkot.
Have breakfast then continue to Uttarkashi. The highway runs along Bhagirathi River and has relaxing mountainous scenery. Check in to the hotel upon arrival. Afternoons are free, and the afternoon can be spent either relaxing, meditating, or taking a leisurely stroll around town. Dinner and stay over Uttarkashi
Breakfast then a drive to Gangotri. The path is calm and spiritually enhancing. Go to Gangotri Temple and spend some time close to the river praying and meditating. Having done rituals, go back to Uttarkshi. Dinner and stay over Uttarkashi.
Breakfast and then start the trip to Guptkashi. This motivation is a long but comfortable one, and there are breaks in between. Arrive, register at the hotel and relax. It is a good evening to meditate and to prepare to visit Kedarnath. Overnight in Guptkashi and dinner.
In the early morning drive to Sonprayag and then transfer to Gaurikund. Begin the journey to Kedarnath Temple. At an additional fee, pony, palki, or helicopter services can be taken. Kedarnath is among the strongest spiritual places in India. Go to the evening aarti and meditate in the silent mountains. Overnight at Kedarnath, at will.
The Kedarnath Temple in the early morning. Practice prayers, and go back to Gaurikund, and approach Badrinath by way of Joshimath. Upon arrival, take a holy bath in Tapt Kund and pray in Badrinath Temple. Once done with darshan, start heading back to Rishikesh.
