The Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaisalmer Tour is an invitation of Travel People India to the travelers to visit the grand cities and deserts of Rajasthan. We company has fancied an easy and fun itinerary to families, first-time visitors and children.  

Rajasthan is also known by its tall forts as well as palaces, vast desert sands, tranquil lakes, royal legacy and colorful markets. All these attractions are merged together in this sightseeing programme. It will start at Jaipur known as the Pink City where people will be exposed to great forts, royal palaces and crowded bazaars. In this case, the history of the monarchs and the local culture of Rajasthan are brought to life.

This sightseeing tour then continues to the Blue City, Jodhpur. It is known by its Mehrangarh Fort, other palaces as well as vibrant markets. The design of the royal palaces and the houses of blue color on the top of the hill offers a beautiful dramatic scene. Lastly, Jaisalmer, the Golden City is also a unique experience in the desert, as its sand dunes, camel riding, cultural shows and ancient sandstone houses have to be mentioned.

Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Jaipur

You get in Jaipur and register in your hotel. Then, take a short rest and then you start off with your sightseeing with Amber Fort which is located on a hill outside the city. The architecture of the fort is based on the Rajput style that includes great palaces, magnificent halls and big inner yards. One can have the panoramic views of Jaipur and take the memorable photos, as it is situated on its terraces. There is an optional excursion of an Elephant ride or a jeep to the fort. The next thing to visit is the City Palace where Jaipur kings lived. Explore its courtyards, go to the museum and galleries where the royal clothes, weapons, and other items can be seen. Next, head to Jantar Mantar, an ancient observatory that has huge stone tools that had been used in previous ages with the help of which astronomical observations were conducted. The site is an interesting educational site at all ages. The Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds is built of pink sandstone and has several small windows as you will see later. During the evening, you can visit Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar where handicraft, jewelry, textile, and souvenir can be found. Local snacks like kachori and samosa and sweets are sold by the street vendors. Spend the evening in Jaipur at your hotel.

DAY 02 - Jaipur -Jodhpur and Mehrangarh fort.

Breakfast ends and you make a drive to Jodhpur a five to six hour journey out of the hotel. Travel People India will provide a comfortable journey, with rest breaks in between, so that one can relax in the countryside, villages, and desert landscape of Rajasthan. As you arrive in Jodhpur, you will be welcomed in a hotel and have lunch. Afternoon will be spent in Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the largest forts in India. Discover its spectacular palaces, halls and courtyards. The fort provides a perspective of the whole Blue City where houses have been painted in different shades of blue. It offers a very stunning background to photographs. Then you will go to Jaswant Thada a marble monument complex with lovely gardens. You can have a rest and shoot photos in this serene environment. During the evening, you may shop in Sardar Market which is the colorful bazaar where craft, textile, spices and souvenirs are sold. It is possible to sample local delicacies like the mirchi vada or the mawa kachori. Go back to your hotel to eat and take a night in Jodhpur.

DAY 03 - Jodhpur -Jaisalmer and Desert Adventure.

Then you will fly out of the house after breakfast to Jaisalmer. The distance will take one about six hours of travelling. There will be beautiful scenes of the desert, small villages, and camel herds that will be on the way. On reaching Jaisalmer, lunch will be taken at the hotel. The Fort of Jaisalmer is an enormous sandstone castle that is situated in the centre of the city and visited in the afternoon. Take a stroll down its small streets and see its temples, palaces and craft and souvenir-filled shops. Then move on to Patwon Ki Haveli, an old mansion that is also known with its elaborate balconies and stone carvings. There is promotion of photography and appreciation of architecture. Next, you will also visit Sam Sand dunes where you can enjoy a desert safari. Ride on a camel, enjoy the sunset on the golden dunes and capture memorable photos. A cultural show that offers classical Rajasthani music and folk dance is provided to the guests during the night. Get to know about local customs, attire and music. Go back to hotel and spend the night in Jaisalmer.

DAY 04 - Jaisalmer Tour and Departure.

You will go to visit the lake of temples where you can have breakfast in the morning there and visit local small shops. This is the location that has Gadi Sagar Lake with a serene environment where one can take a photograph of the reflections in the water. Then visit the local markets in the Jaisalmer Fort. The city has narrow colourful streets whereby crafts, textiles, jewels, and other souvenirs can be bought. Later, you will be leaving the hotel and will move on to your next destination or bring your journey to an end.
