Itinerary

DAY 01 - Delhi: Arrival to Jodhpur

You will begin to go to a city that will become your second home and it is Delhi, where the representatives of Travel People India will receive you very warm. Make a brief orientation visit and then catch the evening train or flight to Jodhpur the city of blues in Rajasthan. Once there, you will be transported to your hotel where you can sleep after the tedious traveling. Time will be spent on a nice evening walk in a crowded Sardar Market in the renowned Clock Tower where you can purchase handicrafts, spices, and textiles. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

DAY 02 - Education about Blue city Jaisalmer driving

Then begin a sightseeing journey of Jodhpur with breakfast taking a tour of great Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the largest forts of India with its beautiful palaces, and view of the blue-colored houses, dotted in the view, which are located at lower levels. Visit idyllic small Jaswart Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph dedicated to Maharaja Jaswart Singh II and a spectacular Umaid Bhawan Palace, an excellent blend of the traditional and royal grandeur. In the afternoon, make a beautiful rodeo through the imaginative scenery of western Rajasthan, to the Golden City of Jaisalmer. On your arrival place your bookings and spend the night enjoying in your hotel. The golden sandstones forming the structures that are burning in the night sky give one the enchanted first scenery of the desert kingdom.

DAY 03 - Heritage Walk and Jaisalmer Fort.

Wake up and have a good breakfast and then get yourself absorbed in the wealth of Jaisalmer. Start by the Jaisalmer fort or Sonar Quila or the golden fort being a UNESCO world heritage site and it is a ferociously high elevation in the desert. See Nathmal ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwedi ki Haveli, and good workmanship with the Rajput architecture. In the afternoon visit the Gadisar Lake, a serene piece of water having numerous temples and ghats that are perfect to take photos and have a relaxing time boat ride. Spend the night strolling through tiny golden streets at the fort and local bazaar and browse in colourful textiles, camel leather products and Rajasthani jewels. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

DAY 04 - Jaisalmer, Field Trip in Kuldhara and Sam Sand dunes.

After breakfast, visit the mysterious village of Kuldhara, a deserted village that is enclosed with the enigmas of curses and survival in the desert. Then go to the enchanted Sam Sand Dunes where the Thar Desert is interminable in golden waves. Reach a camp in a desert and prepare to have a night of your life. Ride a camel to watch the sand dunes rippling like waves and the desert changes to the color of gold and crimson as it sets. Then, one day later, spend a night listening to Rajasthani folk singers' music, Kalbelia dance performances and a traditional dinner in the sky with stars. Desert tent stay at Sam Luxury.

DAY 05 - Jaisalmer to Sam Day Local Markets/ Leisure

Wake up to an amazing sunrise over the dunes and have a refreshing breakfast at the camp. Revert to Jaisalmer and spend some time in these very colorful markets having some rest and sightseeing. There is Bada Bagh, or royal cenotaph complex, where one finds serene scenery of desert landscapes or simply sitting in a roof-top cafe, where one gets the view of the fort. It is a day to purchase gifts, like hand-woven carpet, embroidery of clothing and mirrors. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

DAY 06 - Jaisalmer- Jaipur via Jodhpur.

Breakfast, visit and drive back to Jodhpur on a connecting ride to Jaipur the Pink City of Rajasthan. Arrive and check in at the hotel and rest. In the evening, you can decide on the short trip to Chokhi Dhani, a sort of an ethnic village resort, which offers you the colorful Rajasthani mood with the folk performances, puppets, camel ride and traditional Rajasthani dinner. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

DAY 07 - Jaipur Sightseeing and Departure Jaipur Sightseeing.

An Indian breakfast on your final day of tour and then proceed to a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Visit the impressive Hawa mahal (Palace of Winds), the great City Palace and the scientific marvel of a UNESCO world heritage astronomical observatory known as Jantar Mantar. As the days go by, pay a visit to a photo stop to the beautiful Jal Mahal which is the Water Palace floating on the Man Sagar Lake. Lunch will be served after which you will be transported to Jaipur Airport or Railway Station to further carry on your journey with golden memories of forts, deserts and ancient heritage of Rajasthan.
