Itinerary
DAY 01 - Arrival in Jaipur – The Spiritual Welcome of Pink City
Your religious tour to Rajasthan starts in Jaipur, where you are greeted by a Travel People India representative and assisted with the hotel check-in. In the evening, visit Govind Dev Ji Temple, a very old and revered Krishna temple of the area. This temple is located in the City Palace complex and is a pilgrim center, particularly during the colorful aarti sessions.
DAY 02 - Jaipur Temple Tour – A Day of Devotion
Begin your day by visiting the white marble Birla Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Then visit Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple, the most revered Ganesha temples in the state. Then trek to Galta Ji, popularly referred to as the Monkey Temple, where religious kunds (water tanks) are situated amidst ancient temples and boulder hills. After that, you can also conduct a sightseeing tour of other famous Jaipur sites such as Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and City Palace, fusing culture and spirituality.
DAY 03 - Jaipur – Salasar – Khatu Shyamji – Jaipur
The day is reserved for two of the most popular Rajasthan pilgrim centers. Begin with driving to Salasar Balaji, a temple of Lord Hanuman with immense energy to fulfill the wishes of the devotees. Experience the festive atmosphere of the temple where rituals and langar (communal meals) are a daily affair. Next go to Khatu Shyamji, a temple of an avatar of Lord Krishna. Pilgrims throng from all parts of India to offer prayers and undertake spiritual activities. Back to Jaipur in the evening for overnight stay.
DAY 04 - Jaipur to Ajmer and Pushkar – Unity in Faith
Drive to Ajmer, abode of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, where rests the tomb of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Pilgrims of all religions throng this sacred place who are in search of blessings. Pray and then proceed to Pushkar, one of the oldest cities of India and abode of the rare Brahma Temple. See the holy Pushkar Lake and, if time permits, see Savitri Temple by a ropeway with bird's eye view of the sacred town.
DAY 05 - Pushkar to Nathdwara – Chittorgarh Optional Stop
Leave Pushkar for Nathdwara, a sacred town famous for the Shrinathji Temple in which Lord Krishna is worshiped as a child. En route, have an optional halt at Chittorgarh Fort, a giant fort famous for its connection with legendary Rajput queen Padmini and poet-saint Meera Bai. Meera Temple within the fort is a shrine one should stop by for spiritually inclined tourists.
DAY 06 - Nathdwara to Eklingji and Udaipur – Temples Amidst Palaces
Early morning, visit Eklingji Temple, the famous 8th-century Shiva temple. It is a major Shaivite pilgrimage and provides a serene spiritual atmosphere. Travel to Udaipur, city of lakes, in the later part of the day. Visit Jagdish Temple, the city's largest temple of Vishnu, and then evening sightseeing at City Palace, Lake Pichola, and Saheliyon Ki Bari for a light cultural exposure.
DAY 07 - Ranakpur and Mount Abu - Jain Spiritual Wonders
Travel to Ranakpur, a remote oasis famous for its stunning Jain Temples constructed from white marble. The temple compound, dedicated to Tirthankara Adinatha, features 1,444 intricately carved pillars—each one unique. Drive back on your way back to Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan, and spend the night at your hotel. The windy air and serene environment bring a soothing end to a spiritually enriching day.
DAY 08 - Mount Abu – Day of Divine Serenity
Mount Abu is a peaceful spiritual retreat, even more so for Jain pilgrims. Explore the Dilwara Temples, which are world-famous for the glow of the marble and divine tranquility. Take it a step further with Achalgarh Temple, another Shiva temple constructed by the Paramara dynasty. End the day at Gaumukh Temple, where yagnas were performed by saints, and unwind at Nakki Lake or Sunset Point.
DAY 09 - Return Journey – Mount Abu to Jaipur or Udaipur
Breakfast and return journey to Jaipur or drive to Udaipur for onward journey. Relax and reflect on divine experiences and blessings derived from temples, lakes, and sacred hills during your spiritual journey in Rajasthan.
DAY 10 - Departure
On the final day, drive from Jaipur or Udaipur, as required, to the airport or railway station depending on your flight schedule. Take back memories of a pilgrimage of piety, discovery, and peace.
