Itinerary
DAY 01 - Udaipur – the City of Lakes
Take Udaipur, the Venice of the East and rescue your hotel. Begin with the great city palace, with an enormous number of courtyards, museums and loggia which give one a panoramic perspective on Lake Pichola. Then stroll through the streets of the old city with its colorful markets and come back to the beautiful Jagdish Temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. In the evening, one may have a romantic boat ride at Lake Pichola where the sunset illuminates the beautiful lake Palace and Jag Mandir. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 02 - Free time and sightseeing Udaipur.
Udaipur has marvelous architectural products that can be visited following breakfast. Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, an exquisite landscaped garden and fountain and marble pavilons and serene lake of Fateh Sagar which is featured by picturesque beauty. Go to the Vintage car Museum to get a glimpse of royal cars in the old days. Afternoon will be used on buying miniature paintings, silver jewelry, colored handicrafts, in the colorful bazaars of Udaipur. In the evening, take a light meal in a cafe in a place on the shore of a lake and have a romantic picture of the city. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 03 - Udaipur to Jaisalmer
After breakfast and check out, go on a scenical drive or flight to Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Rajasthan. On arrival, settle down in your hotel and rest. Gadisar Lake is a beautiful water body, which is situated in the evening and is a calm water pool with temples and ghats located and which are worth taking photos and watching the sunset. Experience the first taste of the desert by walking the golden streets of the old city. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
DAY 04 - Sam Sand dunes and Jaisalmer Fort.
Day tour begins by visiting the great Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila) which is one of the living forts in India featuring palaces, temples and living colorful markets. Explore the beautifully emaciated haveli like Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli that showcases the excellent Rajasthani architecture. Afternoon Visit the mesmeric Sam Sand Dunes and enjoy some adventure in the desert. Ride a camel through the desert, Sightsee the fantastic sunset and spend the night in a desert luxurious camp listening to folk music, Kalbeliya dances and having dinner which is traditional Rajasthani dinner. Camping in a tent in the desert under the star-lit sky.
DAY 05 - Kuldhara Village and Departure.
The women will rise to a wonderful desert sunrise and have breakfast at the camp. You must visit the secretive Kuldhara Village when you get back to Jaisalmer which is an abandoned village with stories about curses and things that still survive in the desert. Shopping in the local markets of Jaisalmer- they have a number of colorful local markets where they can purchase their souvenirs like embroidered fabrics and camel leather products and miniature paintings before carrying on with their further traveling.
