Starting with the romantic city of lakes (Udaipur) you will get to enjoy its serene beauty until you proceed to the great fortifications and the blue streets of jodhpur and lastly the golden desert landscape of jaisalmer with its living fort and camel safaris. The itinerary is given below in a straightforward language through a day by day account of a fun filled and easy going adventure.

01

DAY 01 - Arrival in Udaipur

Visit the most romantic place in India Udaipur. On getting to the airport or the railway station, you are greeted in the airport or the railway station and then you check in the hotel and relax. Take out a boat ride in the sunset on Lake Pichola at night. Look at the waters gleaming with reflection of the Lake Palace, Jag Mandir and make a perfect picture. Besides, explore the narrow streets of the ancient town, local handicrafts, and the traditional Rajasthani cuisine at one of the rooftop restaurants and the view of the lake. Overnight Stay: Udaipur

DAY 02 - Udaipur Sightseeing

Have breakfast and continue sightseeing of royal treasures of Udaipur. Start with the City Palace, which is a great complex of palaces, balconies, and courtyards, museums which hold the artifacts of Mewar dynasty. Next visit the Jagdish Temple which is a well carved temple of Vishnu of the 17 th century. Continue to Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of Maidens), a domain of marble pavilion, pools of lotuses and fancy fountain. The Fateh Sagar Lake may also be visited to have a break on a boat, or one can visit the car museum to see royal cars. Then pass the evening roaming around the bright bazaars of Udaipur in which you will come across miniature paintings, silver and handicraft of colors. Overnight Stay: Udaipur

DAY 03 - Udaipur- Ranakpur -Jodhpur.

Breakfast, and leave Jodhpur (some 6 hours by road). On the way to visit Ranakpur Jain Temples which are constructed using marble architecture and have 1,444 distinct and carved pillars. The main Chaumukha Temple that is dedicated to the Lord Adinath is a masterpiece of the Jain temple. Continue to go towards Jodhpur which is also known as the blue city because of the houses that are colored in blue. Go to your hotel and have a rest. In the evening, take a short walk in the Clock Tower Market and Sardar market, known for spices, textile and traditional handicrafts. Overnight Stay: Jodhpur

DAY 04 - Jodhpur Sightseeing

To-day, see the great monuments of Jodhpur. Begin with the great Mehrangarh Fort, an immense Indian fort, which is built upon a hill of rocks. It has well-adorned palaces, courtyards and a museum which holds royal weapons and paintings. Panoramic views of the blue-painted houses under the fort. Next proceed to a lovely mausoleum, Jaswant Thada, made of white marble, and popularly known as the Taj Mahal of Marwar. One of the stops is also Umaid Bhawan Palace (some of which have been transformed into a royal home and 5-star hotel) that has a small museum where one can see the artifacts of the royal family. Have a Marwari dinner out during the evening in one of the heritage restaurants or have local snacks like mirchi vada and mawa kachori. Overnight Stay: Jodhpur

DAY 05 - Jodhpur to Jaisalmer via Osian.

Breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer (approximately 5-6 hours). Also on the route you can explore Osian which is an old deserted town with Jain and Hindu temples that have been cut. Continue to the Golden City of Jaisalmer, the entire structure of which is made of yellow sandstone, that glows in the sunshine. Upon completion of settling at the hotel, you can relax in the evening by going on a stroll in the local market around the fort. Overnight Stay: Jaisalmer

DAY 06 - Day sightseeing and Desert Safari at Jaisalmer.

Explore great Jaisalmer following the breakfast. Start with the Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the few forts that still remain in the world and where people still live and work. Inside the fort, old Jain temples, small shops and well sculpted houses exist. Next, go to the famous havelis, which are; Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli; these havelis contain a lot of stone carvings. Late afternoon, take an exciting camel ride to the Sam Sand Dunes. You will experience the marvelous desert sunset and then your evening in a Rajasthani cultural evening folk dances, music and traditional dinner in a desert camp under the starry sky.Overnight: Desert Camp, Desert camp near Jaisalmer or Jaisalmer City.

DAY 07 - Jaisalmer departure.

Spent the last day out in Jaisalmer at a restaurant and on the last day last minute shopping or photography. then you shall be taken to Jaisalmer Airport or Railway Station to proceed with your journey with great memories about Udaipur lakes, Jodhpur forts and Jaisalmer desert that is golden
