Itinerary

01

DAY 01 - Introduction to Udaipur -The City of Lakes.

When one gets to Udaipur airport, Udaipur railway station, Udaipur bus stand, you will be greeted by a warm smile by the representative of Travel People India who will transfer you to the hotel. Then, when you check-in, got some rest, your Udaipur adventure begins. In the evening enjoy a peaceful boat ride in the lake Pichola. As you are floating on the shimmering water, you are able to view the magnificent City Palace and beautiful Lake Palace glistening in the sunset. The gentle lake and blue sky will be taken to appear as a fairy tale drawing. Then welcome dinner and stay over in Udaipur.

DAY 02 - Sightseeing in Udaipur -Palaces, Temples and Gardens.

See the Grand City Palace, one of the largest Indian complexes of palaces after breakfast. Tour its royal courts, sparkling glass-filled rooms and balconies that have beautiful panoramas of the lake Pichola. It is then succeeded by a visit to Jagdish Temple which was a temple of Lord Vishnu constructed in the 17th century and adorned with beautiful carvings. Then, afterwards, at Saheliyon Ki Bari, a royal garden, of green grass lawns, of marble fountains, of elephants of bronze. During the evening stroll of the bazaars in Udaipur, which are colorful. Purchase silver and miniature paintings, Rajasthani fabrics. The bright and bright colors will be popular among children. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

DAY 03 - Udaipur to Mount Abu -Trip to the Hills.

After breakfast, go to Mount Abu, which is the only hill station in Rajasthan (around 165 km from Udaipur). The sightseeing through the winding streets and the neighboring green hills will tend to cool you. Book into your hotel and sleep. In the evening, pay a visit to Nakki Lake, in which one could use a boat or walk around the lake. Watch the sunset at Sunset point with the sky being golden and pink on the hills. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

DAY 04 - Sightseeing Mount Abu: Temples and Nature.

Start off by visiting the world-renowned Dilwara Temples whose carvings of marble are unprecedented and appear lacework-like. Then go to the summit of the mountain Abu Guru Shikhar and where you will find spectacular scenery of the mountainous neighboring areas. One can spend some time at a visit to Peace Park serene garden where the family can have a picnic. In the evenings, one should not forget to walk around the local market and buy small souvenirs. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.

DAY 05 - Mount Abu to Jodhpur- The Blue City, Becks.

After breakfast Jodhpur (about 260 km). Otherwise, the route has changing landscapes, green hills to desert plains. Come and leave your bag and sleep in the hotel. Take a small walk around the old city during the night to see the well known blue painted houses that give the city its name, the Blue City. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and enjoy some of the local foods and later go back to the hotel to spend the night.

DAY 06 - Exploration Sightseeing of forts and Palaces in Jodhpur.

In the morning, go to the grand Mehrangarh Fort which is amongst the biggest forts in India. Go to its enormous gates, royal palaces and museums where the ancient weapons and paintings are held. Sightseeing On the top of the fort, have a bird eye view of the blue city. Next is the beautiful marble memorial of Jaswant Thada which has peaceful gardens. Then explore the Umaid Bhawan Palace with some still being occupied by the royal family. You can spend your evenings shopping at the crowded markets around Clock Tower where you can buy handicrafts, spices and colored fabrics. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 07 - Departure from Jodhpur

You may enjoy a quiet breakfast in the hotel and consider all the nice things that you had during this trip. You may take a leisurely stroll through the market place in doing some last minute shopping at your own convenience. Finally, the hospitable Travel people India staff will drop you off at the Airport in Jodhpur, railways or bus station so that you can go back to home. The journey can be completed now but the transparent lakes of Udaipur, the fresh airs of Mount Abu and the royalty of Jodhpur will always stay in your mind.
