DAY 01 - First day in Udaipur Welcome to Udaipur Lake city.

You have just begun your adventure when you arrive at the airport of Udaipur, railway station or bus stand. After checking-in and relaxing, now, it is time to experience the first feel of Udaipur. In the evening, take a boat ride in Lake Pichola which is one of the well known lakes of Rajasthan. As you pass through the transparent water in your boat, you can see the great City Palace and the beautiful Lake Palace in the water. The magic scenery of golden hue of the sunset in the aravalli hills makes you feel like it was a fairy tale. Then, subsequent splendid welcome dinner, be intoxicated with the city and then spend your night in Udaipur.

DAY 02 - Sightseeing in Udaipur -Palaces, Temples, and Gardens.

In the morning, a good breakfast will be replaced by the trip to the City Palace which is among the largest complexes of palaces in India. Walk among its court yards, its broad balconies, royal apartments with glass work, pictures and antique. High views of the palace are a spectacular view of the lake Pichola and the beautiful environment in the city. Then go over to Jagdish Temple which is the temple of Lord Vishnu. This temple was famous because of the art carvings and the calm atmosphere in the 17 th century. On the foot of the temple, one can take a rest in Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden made by the royal ladies. The green lawns and the fountains as well as the marble elephants make it a perfect spot to capture pictures and see nature. DAY 03 - Udaipur to Chittorgarh The Castle of Courageous Kings.

Drive picturesque to Chittorgarh in the morning, after breakfast and which is some 120km outside Udaipur. The journey through the rural areas of Rajasthan is a tour of the life in the rural areas and the picturesque scenes. However, visit the grandiose Chittorgarh Fort that is one of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage on arrival. This fort is stinking of history, heroism and grandeur. Pay a visit to the Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory) which serves as a memorial to a great victory of the Rajput and the Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame) which is decorated with rich carvings. The other is the Rani Padmini Palace, which is a peaceful water tank around which the legendary queen Padmini lived. There will be stories of heroism, courage, and sacrifice to you as you walk in the fort. Learn the other fine things about the daring of the Rajput kings like Rana Kumbha and the heroic tale of Rani Padmini and jauhar committed by the women at Chittorgarh. The fort offers comprehensive scenic views of the land and a very fascinating research on the historical experience of Rajasthan. Go to Chittorgarh and return to Udaipur in the evening. DAY 04 - Memories to Treasure- Udaipur Departure.

On the last day, spend it on a lazy breakfast time as you reflect on the wonderful experiences of the last three days. As long as one has time, then take a quick walk around lakes or even do some last minute shopping in the markets of Udaipur either of mini paintings or handicrafts or jewelry. The hospitable members of Travel People India will then take you to the airport, railway station or bus stand to carry on with your travel.
