Itinerary

DAY 01 - Udaipur City of Lakes.

The trip begins as soon as you come to Udaipur by airplane, train station, or bus terminal. The Travel People India will warmly welcome and assist in transporting you to the hotel. The evening exploration is the first thing to do when you have already checked in and passed some time to relax in Udaipur. To start with a boat ride on Lake Pichola that is among the most recognized scenic lakes of Udaipur. DAY 02 - Udaipur Sightseeing visit Palaces, Temples and Gardens.

After having breakfast and waking up, start visiting Udaipur with the biggest complex of palaces in India, the City Palace. Wander everywhere through its vast courtyards, royal chambers and balconies with their lovely paintings, glasswork and treasures. It is an ideal place regarding photography and sightseeing since the palace boasts of spectacular scenery of the lake Pichola and the city. Next visit the Jagdish Temple that is a 17 th -century temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. DAY 03 - Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh -The Great Fort of Mewar.

Breakfast followed by a tour of the scenic drive to Kumbhalgarh that is at a distance of 85km at Udaipur. The tour enters picturesque land, quaint villages and fertile Aravalli hills and as you journey along, you get a glimpse of the country life in Rajasthan. Kumbhalgarh Fort has been considered as one of the most outstanding forts in India and a UNESCO world heritage site which was built by Rana Kumbha in the 15 th century. It is also called the great wall of India since it has very massive walls that exceed 36 kilometers. On visiting the fort you are able to observe the great gateways, huge bastions, palaces, temples, and gardens. This is a strategic position of the fort that offers it a panoramic view of the surrounding land hence making it majestic and picturesque. The Badal Mahal (Palace of clouds) majestic palace in the fort and the temples in the fort complex are the best attractions because they show the spiritual and cultural importance of the region.
